High Pitched Noise When Blowing Nose Novels & Stories

"Wheezing... Wheezing..." There came a gust of wind all of a sudden. Faintly, a strange sound was heard in the wind. Ding Hao listened carefully and could not help showing an amazed expression. Crunch. The not so pleasant sound of someone’s nose breaking. Before today I’m not sure that I had ever heard it, but that was the second, maybe third time within the hour, and it was something that won’t be easy to forget. Oddly enough, it was pretty similar to the sound of chips being smashed in a bag and I wondered if I’d ever be able to enjoy some sweet chili Doritos ever again without associating the two sounds together.

I took a deep breath and exhaled after a moment. I gulped and grabbed a tissue out of the tissue box lying on the coffee table. I blew my running nose. When I withdrew the tissue away from my nose, I found it red. Blood! I teared up all over again as I felt my heartbeats increasing at an unbelievable speed. Why is there blood in my snot? I jumped in fright when a stabbing sound echoed in the silent house. I was shaking in fear as I stumbled towards the kitchen holding my bleeding nose with the tissue to try and stop more blood from coming out but it was in vain.

"What did you just say?" I rolled my eyes, and looked away, "Not again." I muttered in exasperation. "Nothing," Bree muttered, shoving Cora by the shoulders and then heading for the door, "I can't deal with you nutcases right now." "Bree! Wait-" The strawberry blonde started to say when a loud high-pitched scratching noise cut her off. My hands went up to my ears reflexively as the sound pierced my eardrums, the noise was deafening and I cringed at the sheer volume of it.

“Vampire ears are a little more sensitive than ours when it comes to low pitched sounds.” “The hissing noise.” He said looking around more alert and worried. His voice came through, cracking and static. I stared at Elais as the static filled the line, a chaotic, sickening mixture of hissing and crackling that drowned out any coherent response. The noise seemed to increase in double-folds, and it was maddening—an overwhelming barrage that cringed and felt as though it was choking the hospital room. I moved my ears away from the phone, a ringing following in my ears. It was a tempest of noise—like a radio tuned between sharp, stationary and relentless.

It charged fiercely towards Nike when it saw its familiar silhouette. "RAWWWWWRRRRR" another growl came from the beast but this time, the sound carried some overwhelming power. The sound wave pushes Nike away. This single clash injured Nike already, when the sound wave reached him, his seven orifices started to bled.

For the first time in my life, I kind of glad for my petite frame that I could fit into this space. The smell of dust wafted into my nostrils, trickling into my nasal passageway and threatening to cause me to sneeze. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, pinching the bridge of my nose tightly. I keep on repeating a silent mantra on my head—please don’t sneeze, please don’t sneeze, please don’t sneeze. That until the trickling sensation of my nose has subsided, letting me sigh in relief.

Wheeze — The sound of the air being torn open came, and Caspian's fingers seemed to appear out of thin air, hitting the stone slab with a fierce blow, exploding beside Anderson's ear. The crisp explosion made Anderson's mind go blank, and the rubbles flew and scratched on his face, causing bursts of tingling pain.

I tried to ignore the strange physical sensation, yet my surroundings began to shift without any warning. The ambient noise of the busy college campus grew much louder in my ears. I could hear the small plastic wheels of a skateboard scraping against the concrete sidewalk fifty yards away, and the sound was incredibly sharp. I could hear a group of students whispering near the library steps, and I could understand every single word they spoke despite the long distance. The overlapping noises stacked on top of each other, and my ears began to ache from the intense volume.
