POV: Damon Dawn bled over the horizon like a slow wound reopening. From the balcony of the war tower, I watched the thin spiral of smoke rising from the reclaimed village of Raven Hollow. The air tasted like ash and cold iron. It was a mix that clung to my tongue as if it was demanding I acknowledged the truth staring back at me. They took the pack back; Not my father’s warriors, not mine, not Drake’s, not Derek’s either. Rather, it was the Thorn Clan.

“Just… chances are slim. And honestly, romance isn’t on my list right now.” Dawn’s grin spread wide. “If one of those men is your mate, your problems could vanish overnight.
