They were monsters, created to plant nightmares in people's heads and this sight would cause Maddox again one or two sleepless nights, because before someone had put a bullet in this Iuba, he had ripped the blond woman's throat out . Maddox gritted his teeth and jumped over them outside into the garden and into a bloody hell. There were screams, wails, and sounds of pain. The Iubas growl and bite filled the air. There were so many that at first glance he couldn't see them all, but what he saw were the two little, red-haired girls on the hedge in front of the fence. And also the big Iuba, who jumped straight at her.

That night, Caitlin stayed in her room and after an hour, she dropped the sacred book on the table and held a torn-out page close to the burning fire. Her breath shuddered as she stared at a picture of herself in the paper she held and confusion was written all over her face. She does not understand how she is connected to the book or what was written in it but one thing she knows is that, it is not her, but her own child. From everything she read and understood, it says that she is the key and her child will be the savior of mankind when evil is near. She has to offer her own child to save all mankind, including their own kind.

"Nah! No third option, Riri," Beatrix gulped. The title of the second book was 'The troublesome flowers'. It may seem like an interesting book about beautiful ladies and romance but really it's not. It was a horror story. Half a page of this book that she glanced at last year made her have sleepless nights. This book served the purpose of building the heart's strength and courage. A wizard or witch from time to time would go on missions. None of them was a stroll in the park. If one was not valiant, he/she wouldn't be able to do so. But she was still a babe. How can he read this sort of book to her? Is he truly her brother?

I can play you songs and read you audiobooks…’ ‘Okay. Okay, Alexa. If you can’t get me to work or get me food, you’re pretty much useless.’ She jabbed. ‘Technically, I can order an uber and pizza.
