I already finished reading “The Maze Runner”. I decided to read it and went to the garden.

One of them was eliminated, and just because one of the Venators was a little overzealous, the carcass was examined before they went on the hunt for the other three. Her eyes are still wide and unfocused on her surroundings, she’s completely enthralled in her supernatural fiction. “Sorry honey. I guess the author might be aiming for a tragic ending.” “That’s the thing, Tyson. I’m only halfway through the book. It’s the first of a series of 6, so you might be right about it being tragic.” Maddie reconsiders my suggestion and then continues to tell me about the story as I pour myself a cup of coffee from the warm carafe. I’m pretty sure Maddie made this pot herself because it is quite awful, but I need the caffeine hit so I gulp it down.
