It surely was my survival instinct, to keep from reading about Brandon and me and crying myself to death.
I was stunned in grief, my mind numb, unable to think straight. Maybe some healthy caffeine would help me clear my head at least a little. I grabbed a random mug and almost dropped it on the floor. It was Haunters merch Brandon had asked his fellas to bring. Only then I noticed there were two of them: black, sober, classy, with the show’s logo in gray.
“Shit,” I mumbled, still too numb to give that word any emphasis.
