As one of them was about to say something, two beams of purple light shot past the two of them and entered the passage formed from the sword light. “Oh, no! The Hongrome Children are trying to sneak off!” Stephen exclaimed. “Zuriyin! Lyall! Get back here!” Leuko shouted. She rushed toward the passage and transformed into a mass of black and white gases. Then, Leuko went after the children. “Leuko!” An immense amount of Hongrome Light radiated from his body when Stephen was about to chase after them. The light trapped him on the spot. “What… Whatʼs going on?”

Third-Party POV Lux was still frozen in the crashing waves, staring at the impossible vision in front of her, when the world was suddenly swallowed up in darkness again. The lightning was gone and Kairos, or whatever version of Kairos she had seen, vanished into the black. That was when the terror truly sank in. Her breath hitched and caught in her throat. The image of Kairos, the one with the tail suspended in the storm, burned itself into her memory like a curse. She had no idea what she had seen, but she knew one thing for certain: she needed to get out of there.

It's the brightest light I have ever seen; it's glowing right there in the middle of the clearing. The force pulls me closer to the bright light, and I keep walking closer.
