I Killed An Academy Player Chapter 1 Novels & Stories

I placed the cup back where it belonged before walking out of the kitchen. I looked around the empty house, wondering where everyone had gone. Not because I cared about their whereabouts. I was simply thinking out loud. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, and before I could do anything else, a Breaking News notification popped up. It was from the biggest news outlet in the werewolf kingdom. I tapped the notification. The headline read: Final-year student of Golden Claw Academy disrespects the Lycan King and is tortured to the brink of death. Victims now fighting for their lives in the hospital.

My heart nearly stopped beating. The black note trembled violently between my fingers as I stared at the three words written across the paper. THEY KILLED YOU. The room seemed to tilt around me. My mouth went dry. My pulse thundered inside my ears so loudly that it drowned out every other sound. Those words. That handwriting. That horrible feeling crawling beneath my skin. I had seen this before. Not in this life. In the other one. In the life that ended with a wolfbane dagger buried in my chest and my blood staining the healer's floor.

Wind surged inward, pulling at her clothes, her hair, her very balance. “No,” Virelle whispered, stepping back, the pull intensified, invisible and unstoppable. “You were not supposed to be called yet,” the shadowed figure said, watching carefully now. Virelle’s heart raced. “Called where?” The figure met her gaze, and for the first time, there was something almost like concern in her expression. “Blood Oath Academy", the force yanked. Virelle screamed as the world collapsed into red light and vanished.

Aiden was not afraid to die for his love but Brian was very much afraid of death so he decided to keep his mouth shut and gulped his anger. "shall we go luna," Aiden asked and bowed her head down in front of Elena was soon going to be his queen! Elena laughed internally that fate is such a cruel thing, she never thought that the man she loved would call her luna. she was perplexed to laugh at her fate or cry that soon she was going to be Alpha Zane's possession!

I was lying in bed inside the nurse's office, still in my soccer uniform. "Thank God you're alive! We thought we killed you!" Terrence was sitting on a chair beside my bed, munching on a double-patty burger. "Seriously, are you okay? You were spacing out in the middle of training. We were yelling at you multiple times, but you just stood there." I placed a hand on my aching forehead only to find it taped up with gauze. I got my things and raced to my car while I was trying to call Psyche, but then I saw her get into Charlotte's car before it sped off.

He gave my hands one more rub before speaking. “Then let’s go back to the pack house.” Alpha Killian said. I nodded at him as we headed back in. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A/n Inspiration for this chapter is You broke me first by Tate McRae. John went and sat down, then raised his legs halfway through the air and this same girl came and went on all fours in front of him and he placed his leg on her back while sipping on a glass of wine. A cold shiver ran down my spine as the realization dawned on me. This was how Ace was supposed to treat me, weird as it is, but he isn't doing it to me, why? He even killed John's pet last term and he just said it like a mere sweet rolling off a kid's tongue? Indeed, lives were nothing in Silverclaw Academy, and maybe if I just heard a bit about the things happening in Silverclaw, I might never have come here, but since I am already here, I couldn't care less but want to play.

My vision starts to tunnel, the edges of the world turning to pitch black. "Regret is for people who think they had a choice," the Headmaster mutters, stepping over my dying body to address the crowd. I feel my heart stuttering, a frantic bird trapped in a cage of bone. I look at my hands. They are stained with my own blood. I look at the platform. The blood is spreading, a dark, Rorschach stain that looks suspiciously like a map. I think about the future I will never have. I think about the power I never realized I held in my own veins. I think about the lies they told and the secrets they kept buried in the foundations of this cursed academy. And for the first time in my life, I don't feel

"You see what you are to every single student in this academy? You’re a discard able play thing. A piece of meat they want to break for fun. You won’t last a day, not to talk of a semester without protection. Do you understand that?" I immediately nodded because my throat was too tight for words. But he was right. I had been foolish and naïve to think that I could ever survive this hell hole by staying invisible. If nothing changed my circumstance… then I would die here. That fact was for sure. Hot tears of fear stung my eyes but I forcefully held them back.

“What's going on? I murmur, sliding up the bracelet to my wrist. Chaos fills the academy. Everyone is running towards a particular wooden door. Accidentally, a student bumps into me. “Sorry!” He apologizes, fixing his glasses. He turns around in a hurry, yet… “Wait a minute!” My voice stops him from leaving. “Where's everyone going?” I inquire. “Jay Manchester got into a fight with another student. He's the academy's troublemaker.” The boy answers. “We don't have time to stand here!” He clutches my wrist and drags me towards the wooden door.
