In our society, it is normal for us to see a tall guy and a short girl as a couple. We've gone so used to it that when we see a couple in the exact opposite way, we tend to see it as weird and unusual. This “Cute-factor” stereotype has been in our society for God knows how long. When a tall guy sees a girl with a height of a minion, his instincts to be a knight shinning armor to protect her instantly kicks in. For a lot of guys, short girls are more feminine and let's not deny it, they're also quite fierce.
