I was beginning to worry.” Jason stepped out of the shadows dressed in a white cloak and tribal markings on his face. He lowered the hood and stepped further into the light. “It’s almost time.”

The sides of her face and forehead were left bare, and the strap wrapped around her head in a snug fit. Upon hearing the footsteps and Sir Jason's voice Ken and Zack looked up, it was Sir Jason but with a weird get-up and artificial nose, they tried their best but could not control their laugh. "Hahahaha...What is with this weird disguise Sir Jason?" Ken said while laughing uncontrollably.

We were in a dark, quiet street behind the shops. “There,” Jaxon whispered, pointing to a narrow alley. “The green door.” My heart was a drum in my chest. I felt sick. Jaxon turned to me. He held out a small, black piece of cloth. It was a mask. “Put this on. Now.” His voice left no room for argument. I took it. My hands were shaking so hard I could barely tie it behind my head. It covered the lower half of my face. Now, only my eyes showed.

They had found Jason. I jumped up, knocking over my glass spilling juice everywhere. “Woah! What did it say?” Della asked. I didn’t answer her as I ran to my office and called Alpha Colin. As soon as he picked up, I blurted out, “Tell me it is true.” “Who is this? Talia?” “Tell me you’re certain that you found Jason,” I repeated. "I am certain," Colin replied. "My guards saw him at the border last night. He was wearing a disguise, but it was him. We confirmed his scent on the mask he was wearing.”

It scared Ella to think of the kind of mask he was talking about and the knowing gaze he cast on Dylan sent a slight shiver down her spine. ‘’Jason, you should leave now.’’ The stern warning in Dylan’s tone made her even more curious to know what was going on. ‘’No.’’ She said startling both men, ‘’I want to know what mask it is that needed to be taken off.’’ Inching away from Dylan’s warmth, she glanced between them both.
