I don't have time for a mate. "Welcome everyone to our Red Moon Festival. Please make yourselves comfortable. The run will start in approximately 10 minutes! We will meet back here after the run and announce any mated couples should you be so lucky to find the other half of your soul bestowed upon you by the Moon Goddess herself! Let's have a fun run everyone!" I finish speaking loudly to the giant crowd as I meet the other Alpha's and Luna at the bottom of the stairs.

“You don’t change until the first full moon after your 17th birthday. However some of us will start to have some minor changes before. Better hearing, better eyesight, better sense of smell, craving meat more, wanting to be outdoors all the time. Things like that. The first time you turn it is very painful. You have no control over it and it will happen faster if you are directly in the moon light, but it will happen even if it is cloudy. It just takes longer.” Amaris took a moment to absorb all this. Then it dawned on her. “Tonight is the full moon!” Amaris burst out standing up. Anna came over to put her arm around Amaris’ shoulders and sat her down once more. “Now you know why I have been

She led me downstairs and I sat down in the dining where both father and Jaden were already sitting. "How is she doing?" Jaden asked "She is fine but scared" I replied "Scared is not fine," He said "I know but Greeta threatened to kill her last after she is done with us," I said "She must be really terrified," Father said "Yes she is, I could feel it, " I said sadly. "How many days do you guys have left before the full moon?" Father asked "What do you mean by us? For all I know Jaden is the one that has few days before he becomes the most powerful amongst all" I said as father and mother stared at each other.

Time is subjective in the guts of Nightwind Manor—elastic, ugly, wound so tight it could snap at any moment. The cell’s nothing but a holding pattern, a way to kill the first hour of my new half-life, so when the door creaks open again I’m not surprised to see Jace’s silhouette backlit by a flicker of torchlight and a shadow that doesn’t belong to him.

"Thank you, Aunt Cleo. This means a lot to me." The pendant Aunt Cleo gave Aqua was nothing short of mesmerizing. Crafted from sterling silver, the pendant was shaped like a delicate crescent moon, symbolizing the mysterious and potent nature of Aqua's powers. At the center of the crescent nestled a large, oval-cut gemstone that was uniquely clear, like a drop of captured morning dew. The clarity of the stone made it particularly special, as it reflected Aqua's emotional state, changing color with her mood. Intricate filigree work adorned the crescent moon, with tiny symbols and runes etched into the silver, each representing protection and strength. The craftsmanship was exquisite, making i

The crowd made a pathway as I made my way to the center. “There is an evil rising. He is threatening our families, our packs, our homes, and our futures. We will not stand by idly and let this continue to happen. The Moon Goddess has blessed Harper and I with powers that we have yet to learn and discover. Thane Kago is after that power. He wishes to take my mate, YOUR QUEEN!” Angry growls emanated throughout the crowd. “That will not happen!” Everyone quieted to let me continue. “Because I will kill Thane Kago. He needs to suffer for the things that he has done to innocent packs and families. I have an army right now. Trusted allies of Harmony Moon courageously stepped up. If my army is not

She dreamed of becoming a superstar someday, and I could see her achieving it. Mr and Mrs Jeffrey have two kids, Liam and Sam. Liam was fourteen, intelligent and good-looking, while Sam was eight but acted like she was already eighteen. Mr Jeffrey works as a janitor and sometimes does some bartending jobs in a club nearby. They don't have much, but I love seeing them together. They always seem happy and content. I sometimes visualize my future family like theirs: simple, happy and dominated by love. "Well, I can't skip school for so long, especially now that I'm so close to graduation," I replied, placing my dirty clothes inside the machine.
