Banayad ang unang kagat sa labi ni Samantha kaya napasinghap siya, at hinalikan siya ni Dwyn sa leeg pababa. Umiling lang si Samantha na parang tuliro. Napamura si Dwyn at tumayo, pilit pinipigilan ang sarili. Ayaw niyang samantalahin ang sitwasyon. Lumabas siya ng kwarto, pumunta sa kusina at uminom ng malamig na tubig para pakalmahin ang sarili.
