Librarian Warhammer Novels & Stories

Why will she request access to such a thing when it can only be used to harm people? I took multiple deep breaths, trying to calm myself down. Her fists were clenched and she was still kneeling before me with her forehead touching my feet. She looked a little bit nervous, but determined, not willing to back down or take back her words. “What nonsense! Library of forbidden arts is a collection of books seized from dark sorcerers for over a time spanning thousands of years. They were all from demonic witches, wizards, and the worst of evil. As the wife of the wolf emperor meant to embody grace, love and compassion, why will you want to touch such things if you do not have bad intentions?” Gene

Lazi began, his voice echoing faintly, “this wing was built after the Northern Conflict. I had it expanded to house council chambers and guest quarters.” He didn’t look back, not once, only to Rohan at his side. I studied the space anyway, filing everything away. The chandeliers were old-world crystal, polished to perfection. The windows were tall, arched, reinforced with iron filigree shaped like crescent moons. Power lived here. It lingered in the air, heavy and unapologetic. “This library,” he continued, gesturing to a massive double door as servants opened it ahead of us, “contains records of every treaty my pack has ever signed. Knowledge is leverage. I never rule without it.”

“Something that belongs here. Something that hasn't moved in ten thousand years.” The movement solidified. From between two towering rows of archives, a figure emerged. It was skeletal and hunched, its ancient robes stiffened and saturated with the glowing silver dust. Its movements were dry and rapid, a soundless skittering that raised the hairs on Evangeline’s neck. Where its eyes should have been, there were only empty, bone-white sockets, yet they fixed instantly on the intruders. “A Wyrd Librarian,” Selene hissed, drawing a long, slender silver dagger. “They were scholars sworn to protect the archive. They look… petrified.”

"Be careful when borrowing this book. Actually, you can't take these books out. But since you got a special reference from someone, then I allow you." "Thank you very much," I kept saying to the librarian. I also hugged the three books that were quite thick and heavy and hurriedly left the library. While walking, I always try to avoid people. I don't care if they know me or not. I was really wary after the last incident. Warlocks can camouflage and disguise themselves as anyone. They can even hide the red mark on the forehead. "Wait, Jonea!" call someone from behind. I stopped and turned my head. "Why do I have to meet him in a place like this? Why did he say my name? I'd better run away and

I waited patiently as I heard the big doors of the library being thrown open. “So they’re selling their she wolves now?” he growled low and menacing. I could here the echo of his growl bounce around the vast library, I could smell the books from here. We held the largest collection of pre war literature and our library was preserved like you walked back in time. I missed home then, I had never wanted to be Beta, second in command is a lot and I had wanted a quiet life. But the moon mother had other ideas for me. “Tom!” Alec shouted. I could hear a faint reply and Alec was moving a ladder inside the library.

Which meant worse was coming. She paused for a moment, lifting her hand. A shimmer of sapphire light answered her call, the air bending around her command. With a sharp gesture, she summoned a heavy iron chest from the depths of the warded storerooms. “Arm yourselves,” she said, her voice hard. “If they want war, they’ll have it.” Lorian didn’t hesitate, grabbing a pair of curved blades, testing their balance before strapping them across his back. Lucian, more measured, pulled free a long spear etched with runes, his fingers tracing the sigils like he was reacquainting himself with an old friend.

“The herbs? The potions for dark magic?” “They’re ready, Alpha,” the healer confirmed, holding up two wooden crates filled with glowing vials and wrapped bundles of leaves. “We’ve tested every dose twice. They will work.” Damian nodded. He had no doubt Lila would use dark magic to win this war—but he would be ready. Finally, he organized the full army of warriors into ten large divisions. Each one was placed under the command of someone he trusted. Theo would lead the first group and march ahead as the vanguard. Behind him, the high-ranking officials would follow with their own warriors. Then Lucian would lead the next line. Damian himself would be at the rear, commanding the final and stron

I looked around for the librarian but noticed that Lucian and Cassius weren't here anymore. “Pack duties.” Darius said. Like I asked. I ignored him, got up and went to find the librarian. “What does it say?” I asked pointing to a page. I didn't know why but something on that page called out to me. The librarian looked at the page. Then at me. For a second, he didn’t speak. “Moon-marked wolf.” My fingers tightened around the book. “what?” “It’s a type of wolf,” he continued calmly. “the rare and powerful kind.”

Unfortunately she did it already and was pressed against the door while she marveled at the house she would be living in. "You like it?" He questioned as he immediately began to growl, scenting the presence of other males. His hand went to her shoulder pulling her into him, as a group of males approached them. War immediately identified the group of four. More men who were deemed 'warriors' like him and Trent, but much younger. In reality they were just contracted killers...lower levels. Tier 3 killers and hunters. Trent and War were level 1, able to track and kill down most rogues that elite lycans wanted dead. That was how their pack made money, supported their young and paid the bills on

Mj looked around as Dante moved further into the room and turned a few lights on, revealing Azreal’s vast but private library. Mj shook her head as that strange sense of Déjà vu crept up her spine, and she turned in a circle as Dante ascended the enormous book stuffed shelves like a spider monkey. “I’m positive the Alpha would prefer you use a ladder,” she tried to say in a serious tone, but kicked herself mentally as her voice came out almost giddy and sharp. Dante swung from shelf to shelf, up and across the enormous rows of books before he pulled a few and whistled down at Mj, “better not let them hit the floor assassin,” he mused as he dropped each book at a different interval, causing M
