The city slowly started to grow lively with the light and noise of the night life. She took the stairs to head upstairs. As she opened the door, the darkness that engulfed the room was sparked up with the flip of the switch. The dim light helped dissipate the utter darkness.

His voice blurred slightly in the wind. "I brought you here at last. Didn't you always want to see the stars here?" My spirit floated beside him. My heart ached at the sight of his aged back.
