Frankly, if we wanted to escape, now would have been the best time. It was all green around us, everywhere there were trees and shrubs. Little birds flew by with their specific songs and I think I could spot a lake a few miles from here. It could have been a mirage. The heat in this place was immense, the sun shone directly above us, targeting our very soul with UV rays.

"Looks like they're ready to make their appearance." Sarah's voice got lost as the crowd around them began murmuring, the sound growing louder and louder, filling the open space with noise. The murmuring continued until the lights cut fully plummeting the entire room and its occupants into darkness. A single spotlight flashed on and focused at the top of the stairs where Summer and Michael both stood now. Asher felt his breath catch as he stared at Summer. She looked like a fairy standing there with the light glowing around her.

‘Focus…’ I reminded myself. It got faster, my mind racing to keep up and a careful hum began to warm in my chest. ‘Further…’ I told myself, letting go of any restraints I had over myself and allowing my soul to be dragged along the consuming light of the moon. ‘This is it…’ The faster the path travelled greater the warm hum of power in my chest grew. This was it, I allowed the light to lead me now, giving in to the path and it pulled me with it.

He added quietly. "Light thinks it travels faster than anything, but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds darkness has already gotten there first, and is waiting for it. Light’s pov As dawn sets upon the sky, I get up from the bed and wear my clothes back. My gaze fell on the naked body of the woman I spent my night. I covered her with the sheets and left her apartment in haste. I pressed the button on the keys of my car to unlock it and drove back to my house. A big renowned mansion in the city. Sometimes, it’s good to be filthy rich as you can buy anything you want. Yes! Yes! I know some will say that you can’t buy happiness from the money but hey! Have you ever thought that you can cry sitting in your Ferrari then a local transport? That’s what i feel.

I start, but then Adrian grabs my hand to pull me away from the front door. "No! You're my frie- uhhh partner." He says, stuttering a little, looking away also. Partner?! That's what am I to him?! "Look, I can speak wolf language," I answer, softly to him, turning around to see him. Looking up into his brown eyes, as he stood there glancing down to my eyes. "....fine, if you die. I'm not coming to your funeral." He says, with a small smirk. Okay, that was just mean.
