The Alpha's Regret: Chasing Back His Rejected Luna

The Alpha's Regret: Chasing Back His Rejected Luna

Too foolish. The moon is still up there in the night sky, shining so brightly with its lights seeping through the trees like a fog. The lights guide my path and allow me to see the mark of the boundary when I arrive. The forest here is different. The trees are older. The silence is heavier. And somewhere in my guts, I know— I have reached a line. Not a metaphorical one. A territorial one. Stopping in my tracks, I find a tree trunk and rest my body against it as I try to calm my panting breaths for a while. My legs wobble under my weight.

The Alpha's Second Chance Obsession

The Alpha's Second Chance Obsession

As they walked, the forest grew denser, the trees twisting and turning in ways that seemed impossible. Lila felt a shiver run down her spine. "This feels weird," she said. Kael nodded. "I know what you mean. It's like the forest is shifting around us." Cassian growled, his eyes scanning the trees. "Stay close," he said. As they walked, the trees grew closer together, forming a tunnel of branches and leaves. Lila felt like she was being swallowed whole, the forest closing in around her. And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the tunnel ended. Lila stumbled out into a clearing, blinking in the bright sunlight.

The Witch And The Alpha

The Witch And The Alpha

Perhaps because it doesn’t like where the distinction leads. I step closer through the trees. Still unseen. The clearing feels wrong now—not unstable, not corrupted. Social. The forest reacts to pauses in conversation. Adjusts atmosphere around tension. Softens when vulnerability appears. It has become emotionally architectural. A habitat shaped by relational dynamics. That realization should disturb me more than it does. Instead, I find myself fascinated by the precision of the transformation. The entity asks what it should become. The girl hesitates because she already understands the danger of answering.

“I went looking for answers after the release hit. Thought I could find some old resonance site, maybe quiet the noise in my head. But the forest… it pulled me deeper. Past the borders we know. Into places the territorial force doesn’t touch anymore. Or maybe never did.” Lorenzo growled softly. “That’s suicide. Those old growth zones are unstable as hell right now.” “I know,” Killian said, not looking away from me. “But something called. Not a voice. Not exactly. More like… an invitation from the land itself. Different from what you felt with the oldest. Older, maybe. Or forgotten. I walked for hours. Days. Time got weird out there. And then…”

The Chubby Fated Mate of the Demi- God Wolf

The Chubby Fated Mate of the Demi- God Wolf

We were moving before the echo faded. ---------------------------------------------------- The forest beyond Raelthorn was wrong. Not corrupted. Muted. Sound dulled beneath the towering black-leafed trees. Even the fae lights flickering between branches burned dimmer, as if afraid to draw attention. The scouts had formed a cautious perimeter around a clearing where the earth had been pressed flat, and as if something vast had rested there briefly. Or knelt. I stepped forward, the hollow tightening as I crossed the boundary. “Don’t,” Layla warned. “We haven’t cleared it.”

Pact of Blood

Pact of Blood

The Forest of Mirrors did not merely reflect light; it inhaled the very essence of those who dared tread within its shifting perimeter. For Laura and Dave, the world had shattered into a billion jagged, silvered planes, each one pulsating with a rhythm that felt like a dying heartbeat. The trees here were not made of wood or bark, but of polished obsidian and frozen time, creating a labyrinth that distorted space until the concept of "forward" became an insulting suggestion As they pushed deeper, the air grew thick with the metallic tang of ozone.

Reborn to Defy Fate

Reborn to Defy Fate

I had promised, to the gods, to my pack, to myself, that I would wield this power to protect, not dominate. Yet the darkness had a patient patience, a patience born of eternity. It began to show me. First, a vision of the Veil, the liminal space between our world and the unbroken magic, stretching like a torn curtain across the sky. Through it, I glimpsed what lay beyond: a forest of obsidian trees, roots like coiling serpents, and skies churned with a violet storm. Shadows moved across the land, shaping themselves into forms that seemed to anticipate my every thought.

The Space Between Pines

The Space Between Pines

The Harlow Inn sat at the end of a quarter-mile gravel drive that wound through old-growth Douglas fir, the trees tall enough to turn the afternoon light green and cathedral-dim even before the clouds had properly settled in. Eli drove it slowly, partly because the rental car's suspension was already complaining about the state of the road, and partly because the inn appeared in stages through the trees and each stage gave him something new to calculate.

Irresistible Temptations

Irresistible Temptations

Traps of deceit AIDEN "Is it still far?" "A few more miles and we will arrive at Ashton's Mills." Mira led the way with confident steps, but I couldn't help but wonder if we were walking in circles. It was hours since we left the safe house and the strange feeling in my gut couldn't be shaken off. This part of the forest was abandoned, with trees towering above us transforming into sinister monsters with gnarled, claw-like branches. They reached out like bony fingers, their twisted limbs scratching the sky. Dry leaves rustled on the ground like whispers, pushed by the wind. Apart from that, the forest was silent, perhaps even too quiet, as if it was haunted and filled with death.

The Transcendent Zombie System

The Transcendent Zombie System

As soon as he finished speaking, he activated the Hundred Heavenly Steps and vanished from the hall. ... In the Black Forest... This was a forest between the Heaven Realm City and the Zombie Kingdom. Its surface area was shockingly large. There were all kinds of horrible fierce beasts in the Black Forest. For ordinary people, it was definitely a real forbidden zone for life. Lucas was still a thousand meters away from the Black Forest. He used his Mind's Eye to scout around and realized that there was already a heavy guard in front of them. "Well?" "Who are you?" Suddenly, a voice like an oriole leaving the valley traveled into Lucas' ears.

I genuinely love this book, only problems I have with it is the fact that he never actually travels with the people he gets to join him (hattie Mia etc) I wish there were more interaction between them all. second is that there are only 2 or so chapters a day....I have plenty of coins to waste...

I believe no updates is due to the platform not the authors themselves. Many of the books I’m reading are not updated as well. It is possible the authors are not able to upload their chapters on the platform
