Sparks Fly

Sparks Fly

He was so smart on top of that, it made it really easy to babysit him, Evan had already learnt a few words which he frequently used to convey things like, sippy for water, yes and no, yum for food, etc, otherwise it was just random babbling. Whenever Lucas would be too busy to give him attention, he would put on rhymes for him on the television or on the phone and Evan would obediently watch that, until the older would come and play with him. Evy, as Lucas had started to fondly call him, loved his sketchbook and colours with all his heart and soul, the only time Lucas had ever seen him cry hysterically, was when he had accidently spilled water on the book with his sipper, and all his colourf

A bit longer and it would have run out of energy completely. Ryan ignored it and continued compressing the pyramid even more until it was but a few hundred meters. The pyramid exploded and sand went everywhere. The sparrow turned itself into a ball of lightning and started melting the sand from within the pyramid. By the time Ryan Realised it was too late. The sparrow had already burst out of the pyramid and was flying straight at him.

She smiles as she climbs into bed. Kim smile as she moves over next to Brianna. I walk over taking a seat at the end of the bed as Kim open the book. "The very hungry caterpillar." She read the title to Brianna before opening the book. "In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on a leaf. One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and pop out the egg came a very tiny and a very hungry caterpillar." Kim looks over at me sitting on the end of the bed and smile as she turns the page and continues to read the book.

Great story, but has some typos and grammatical errors. Your verb tenses need to be more consistent. I absolutely love the plot and characters in this book however and look forward to the next one!

Jasper: Love and Monsters (Book 2 of Jasper)

Jasper: Love and Monsters (Book 2 of Jasper)

The first thing that Lila did when she recovered from her fainting spell was to focus on her surroundings. They looked familiar. Yet, her still muddled mind couldn’t quite place them. It took several minutes of study before she realized that she was back in the wing of the vampire castle where she and Jasper had spent so many months. The room was closer to the lab than the one she’d occupied before her escape and much smaller. She’d used it to nap in a few times when she wanted a brief break from the lab but didn’t want to be too far from Jasper in case he needed her.

Reborn Of The CEO’s Cold-Hearted Wife

“Okay.” She adjusted the blanket around him, tucking it lightly under his shoulders. “There once was a little bird,” she began softly, “who lived in a very large cage. The cage was beautiful. It was made of gold, and everyone who saw it thought the bird was lucky.” His eyes were already softer now. “But the bird didn’t care about gold,” she continued. “It cared about the sky.” He blinked slowly. “The bird would sit by the bars every day and look out at the open sky, wondering what it would feel like to fly without limits.”

Sparrow let out his eyes flickering with mischief. Day later...... It's been five days since Sparrow had gone back to Russia, he did call and even though I and Lisa his wife had never met each other we were growing a pretty great relationship as we spoke on the phone and did video calls. I also got to see Marie their daughter and she looked like both her parents, she had her mom's hair and eyes and the others were her dad's features, she was a really cute baby. A knock came on my door disrupting my thoughts.

The Bride He Refused to Lose

The Bride He Refused to Lose

Written across the aged paper, in elegant, faded black ink, were four simple words: *Happy Birthday, Little Sparrow.* Lorrie’s breath caught violently in her throat, a cold, suffocating wave of ancient memory crashing through her mind. She had heard those exact words before. Somewhere in the deep, foggy recesses of her early childhood... a warm voice had whispered that exact nickname to her while rocking her to sleep in a room that smelled of smoke and lilies. The elegant man in the navy suit stepped deep into her personal space, his striking eyes locking onto her tear-filled gaze. When he spoke, his voice dropped into a pitch that was barely above a soft, devastating whisper.

Emma & Connor

He asked about my life in small ways, the kind of things that weren’t usually shared with someone new: my mom’s old stories, quiet afternoons helping my dad around the house, the little ways I tried to hold everything together. Eventually, I found myself talking about a book my mom used to read to me: The Sparrow and the Sunlight. “She called me ‘my little sparrow,’” I admitted, flipping to a dog-eared page. “The character reminded her of me, apparently. Even when I was scared or unsure, she said I had courage, even if it was tiny.” Connor leaned closer, intrigued. “Sparrow,” he repeated, softly, almost like tasting the word. “I like that. It suits you.”
