The Tale of A Villainess

The Tale of A Villainess

I blurt out my thoughts, hoping to realize the connectivity. Scholar Li ponders, "What do you mean by—" Xu Kai beckons me to continue, "Continue, Miss Yuan." It seems he has the same thoughts as I do, but desires to hear my inputs first. I nod, "White millet is the favorite bird seed of sparrows, as they have small beaks. The large amounts of seeds with a yellow shiny coat have come to attract ground feeding birds. With that in mind, it is safe to say that somewhere scattered on the ground are trails of millets. After all, there has been a pattern in the sparrows who have been flying in the sky."

Damn, I cried because of this book😢😭 But the ending......the author leaves us our own imagination about the ending. This is the best book I've read so far which made me cry and laugh. Nice scenes, nice characters, nice plot. Overall, it's an excellent story. Thank you so much, author😍😘💗💖

This was very well written. No unnecessary and prolonged details. I think my only wish would be an epilogue that contained some more details wrapping up a few things about what happens in the future. I loved this book. I really did.

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

“Look.” A small, brown sparrow, looking dusty and tired, had fluttered down and landed at the very edge of the green patch. It hopped cautiously onto the dark soil, its head tilting. Then, it began to peck at the ground, finding a few tiny insects that had returned with the moisture and life. It was the first wild creature they had seen in the valley. No one spoke. They just watched the bird, its simple, normal activity more beautiful than any symphony.

Marrying a Disabled CEO in My Sister's Place

Marrying a Disabled CEO in My Sister's Place

Alice hid a laugh, laying Millie down and tucking her between the sheets, with Hoppy by her side “Want to do the honors?” “Okay, okay…” he snorted, and Alice had to admit that it was a funny image to see that huge man, still with broad shoulders and a firm appearance despite everything that had happened to him, sitting in his wheelchair with the colorful book in her hands and an upset expression on her face “Once upon a time, there was a mother duck who was very excited about the birth of her five little eggs. One after another, they were born, cute little yellow ducklings that said quack quack...”

I Am Their Mother: Rebirth Of The Wicked Stepmother

I Am Their Mother: Rebirth Of The Wicked Stepmother

Sophie cheered. Five minutes later, Clara found herself sitting beside Sophie reading from a picture book. Or at least attempting to. Because Sophie interrupted every two sentences. "Why did the bunny go there?" "Because that's where he lived." "Why?" "Because that's his home." "Why?" "Because—" Another question. Then another. Then another. Somehow, Clara answered every single one, patiently and lovingly. Eventually, Sophie's voice grew quieter, then slower and softer. Until finally... The little girl drifted asleep.

Resold To The Ruthless Mafia Lord

Resold To The Ruthless Mafia Lord

My gaze dropped to the cover of the book in her hands, and I stilled for a moment. An erotica collection. I looked at her face again, at the focused little crease between her brows as she read, completely absorbed, cheeks faintly flushed without her even realizing it. A slow smile curved at the corner of my lips as I watched her. She reminded me of a red sparrow I once had. I had rescued the bird and nursed it back to health. But as soon as it got better, it tried to escape the pretty cage I had made for it. The bird's actions did not sit right with me, so I broke off its beak and cut off its wings, then sat there watching it until it died.
