I’ve done all the shopping, bought the necessary things we need and clothes and toys for Neveah but then on my way to the De Lucas estate something caught my eye that was in the window of a store I drove by. It was a designer bag that Liyana looked up once on the internet and she couldn’t stop talking about how she wished she had the money to buy one for her because she fell in love with it at first sight . She said that the bag itself was gorgeous and that she just loved the design. I can’t even count how many times she had shown me pictures of that bag. Even if I tried I could never forget how the bag looked. It was printed in my mind. I was going to get her that designer bag and surprise

The old me had no sense of self and lived entirely around Clinton. But now, I was free. It was time to let the past rest. Another spring arrived with flowers in full bloom.
