The Peculiar Morass

The Peculiar Morass

Why is fate twisted and cruel? I guess happiness is not for me... Leticia. -------------------- Sun rays come as nature's treasures, furnishing brilliance to what was hidden even under the passing shadow of the evening. The dawn brought a new freshness to the light as if the world had been upgraded to some higher definition. The sun has not yet fully revealed itself, but the people have started working. When the morning finally came, the streets were already closed, people flocked to certain locations. Drums are beating loud and clear. Colorful costumes are being worn by the street dancers as they proudly proclaim "Viva Vigan!"

The Rain That Reminds of You

The Rain That Reminds of You

Our Luna

Our Luna

It was a profound sense of unity, of belonging, that warmed my heart. I focused inward and sent a wave of love and gratitude to every member of our pack. They all fell silent, their faces reflecting astonishment. “How did you do that?” Mateo asked in awe. **“I am your Luna, and I will stand with you through good and bad. I am grateful for each and every one of you—for the love I have felt from the moment I arrived here—and I wanted you to feel how much I love you in return. I am not a typical Luna, nor just a wolf. Our pack will be something special—a magical place where we all thrive, where every member is valued, cherished, and loved,”** I said, turning to Mateo and then addressing the res

The Chronicles of Ashcroft

The Chronicles of Ashcroft

“Ha? Anong iyong ibig sabihin Ina? At saan niyo narinig ang ganyang klaseng usap-usapan? -- Magha hatinggabi na at patuloy parin ang aming pag takbo sa ilalim ng kagubatan at tanging aninag lang ng buwan ang nagsisilbing liwanag dito. “Kamahalan, magpahinga muna tayo” hinihingal na saad ni Heneral Cognan. Bumaba kami ng kabayo at saka ito sumenyas sa aming mga sampong kasamahan.

Juliet's Marriage Request

Juliet's Marriage Request

He chuckled when he saw my state. "Between dark and red, hear me 'O shadows of death. Become one with the rain, be one with the sea, be one with the sky, Erebus."

Made a Wish

Made a Wish

True Luna

True Luna

After we ate, we went back to the living room to watch another movie. At around 7 pm, Andrew told me to go and get ready. We had to walk for about 20 minutes to reach the shifting site in the forest. It is a small clearing in the middle of the forest where all wolves go for their first shift. It is special because it is the only place in the forest where the moon can shine on you completely. Our forest is so thick that moon can barely shine through the trees. The clearing is the only place it shines freely. I put on my white dress, chosen especially for this night. It is tradition to wear white on the night of our first shift. I put on my shoes and went back downstairs.

Really great story! Read it twice! But I could really do without the constantly "love" and "baby" aaaall the time. It's kind of weird that her brother calls her "love". For me that's what your "mate" should call you, just not constantly hehe. But, that's just me. Still as mentioned, great story! :)

I love the story it's very interesting hard to stop reading sometimes. I am wondering why the rest of the books are not on this site? I found it on another site it has 5 books. I read them all, but you left book 5 at a cliffhanger. Can you let me know when the 6th book is out. It's exciting!

My Luna? Never!

My Luna? Never!

Valerie's POV The faint chirping of birds, golden rays of sunshine, dewdrops over green grass….all signify a new inning. A beautiful morning tells in various beautiful ways that every day of our life is a new beginning. The glittering sun rays spread various hues of shiny silvers and golds. The sunlight shines in my eyes as soon as I opened them. It did seem to make my eyes hurt. I blink a couple of times to adjust to the itching and hectic sunlight rays. I rubbed my eyes to relieve it opens and for that, I am in the back seat of a car. That was not all the car is on acceleration. It made my blood run cold.

Blood Moon: Vengeance of the Reborn Luna

Blood Moon: Vengeance of the Reborn Luna

The village buzzes with life. Everywhere I turn, someone is preparing for tonight’s Lunar Eclipse Festival. It’s the most important celebration for Moonlair—a tribute to the Moon Goddess for her guidance and protection. Children race through the village square, their laughter ringing out like bells. The air smells of roasted meats, sweet honeyed bread, and the faint tang of herbs being prepared for the festival offerings.

Melancholy: The Inception

Melancholy: The Inception

But after minutes and quarters I have waited, nothing happened. Heh? Eh? My forehead creased as I look back to the sky and shift down to the ground. Did I say the wrong words? Or is it not the right chant? I took a deep breath and puffed. “Labi sin umagsapa, Manbalanga’y dada say umayus. Agew ya taw-en ay lumabas. Silaw di bulan, danan ay manpaila. Las-ang ay naginek, kansyon di dagem san umayag,

Frequently Asked Questions

Growing up in a household where family gatherings often involved a bit too much drinking, I've seen my fair share of tipsy uncles and aunties. The first thing I learned is to keep them hydrated—water is your best friend. Alcohol dehydrates the body, so sipping water slowly helps. I also remember my lola always prepping some hearty soup like 'tinola' or 'arroz caldo' to soak up the alcohol.

Another trick is to let them rest in a safe position, preferably on their side to avoid choking if they vomit. Never let them lie flat on their back! And if they’re really out of it, staying nearby to monitor their breathing is crucial. Sometimes, a gentle walk outside for fresh air can help clear their head, but don’t force it if they’re too unsteady. It’s all about patience and keeping them comfortable until the worst passes.
