"Can you or can't you?" She arched an eyebrow. "Don't get impatient, princess. Magic's an art, not a state of mind, that takes time." I groaned. "Then we're lost." Liam snorted. Magda hesitated, her trembling hand held in mid-air. "All right, all right. I can do that. But there's a catch." "There always is," I said to her. "The spell won't hold," she informed me. "It will dissolve if it catches a scent of blood. If you get slashed up in an accident or intentionally and start to bleed, then the glamour will start to unravel until your body can heal itself."

The air shimmered as she began the incantation, words infused with ancient power that resonated through the very fabric of the supernatural realm. "Elvie, daughter of the moon, ensnared by unseen forces, let the veils that bind you be lifted. Return to the essence that defines you," Morgana intoned, her voice carrying the weight of centuries of magical knowledge. "Those would be 'Wish' and 'Miracle' but I also have others that can be extremely useful." Nyos swallowed audibly as his expression was shocked. On the other hand, Frey shifted uncomfortably, surely she was sweating under his armor. "Wish" and "Miracle" possibly the most powerful spells of Arcane magic and Divine magic respectively. Given Zark's character build, he was capable of using Arcane magic and Divine magic, although he sadly does not possess in his arsenal the third type of magic power, Psionic magic (also known as Psionic powers).

It toughens up the body and enhances your ability to be able to stand the same grounds towards beasts like those." "Beast? That's a beast? I thought it was a monster. You know, those things that I keep hearing about."

With a deep breath, I channeled my energy, my very essence, into the incantations that would allow me to strike back. Gathering the strands of magic around me, I envisioned the sorceress's location, her form etched into my mind like a dark silhouette against the canvas of my thoughts. With a whispered word, I invoked the teleportation spell. The world blurred, colors melding into a whirl of motion as I traversed the distance between us in the blink of an eye.

My magic represents itself as a beam of light that I could direct with hand movements. Spells differ in their method of casting, but the problem is, I’ve never learnt any attack spells, they never seemed of any importance before! Hence, when a flash of purple light bolts out of my hand, instead of blasting the wolf away as would have been useful, it turns the canine’s fur from a dark brown into a flashy girlish magenta! Probably from the time I wanted to turn my dress from green to pink… Oh no…

As the clash between Oscar and Damian reached its peak, Oscar seized an opportunity to turn the tide in his favor. With a swift motion, he retrieved a gleaming, arcane wand from his side, its magical essence pulsating with power. With a determined glare, he aimed the wand at Damian, channeling his energy into a single spell. A burst of magical energy erupted from the wand, striking Damian with precision. The impact caused Damian to stagger, his movements faltering as the magic worked its way through his body. The disabling spell had taken effect, rendering him temporarily incapacitated and vulnerable.

It was probably something against me or whatever. As I was getting ready for the meeting for people interested in magic I was practicing with my magic and getting even stronger with my spells. I only knew three spells so far but I knew if I kept practicing I could learn more soon. I was really getting into the one spell that allowed me to make a shadow servant who could go into the shadow of a person I either picture in my head or say their name. It at first could only hear what is happening and briefly affect the area around them but since I was getting stronger with my magic they could now increase the number of people I could spy on and freeze their shadow for one minute.

Must be rarer than I thought.’ [Magic Application] allowed Spells to retain their full power even without the use of Chants. Lucielle had it. Esme had it. Rey had it as well.

His perception of traditional magic was shaken. The spell Len selected for the idol turned out to be a protection spell. Len read the description that the spell would imbue the object with protective magic that wards off small to medium kinetic based attacks. He watched as the idol processed being imbued by small amount of flowing arcane energy. The eagle idol floated and vibrated reacting to the purple energy encasing it.
