“Where were you?” Jai asked when they finally settled on the dining table. “Looking for Usha. He was at the field, playing with Maki,” Miria giggled. “Who’s Maki?” Jai asked as he let Usha bit on his thumb. He didn’t remember meeting anyone named Maki in the village. “It’s Farmer Mac’s dog beast. He said Usha helped herding the ducks,” Miria was smiling. Jai chuckled. He played with Usha a bit as he said, “Seems like he was being very helpful.”

Makaila concluded as she took the tray of extra large pizza and drinks and walked to their table. "Took you long enough." Bethany snorted. Makaila ignored her again and that seemed to anger Bethany. Makaila placed the tray on their table. Bethany took her diet coke and made it slip so that it could pour on Makaila's cloths. Makaila gasp and quickly stepped back. The Coke also poured on her sneakers. They were her only pair of shoes. She was so frustrated, she almost started crying, in fact beads of tears were already coming out of her eye.
