Bloody Mary Mary knew that the bodies had been stacking up as a lazy tech pushed it toward the elevator. She could tell by the look of indifference on his face where he was going. Stopping at the morgue door and with a shiver, Mary slid through the door quietly and stood in the shadows waiting for the drop off the dead body.

She emptied the contents in the cup in one gulp and placed the cup on the counter with a thud. The bartender shook his head and returned to his business.

So I grabbed my teddy bear and walked down the stairs. When I came into the kitchen, I didn't saw my daddy and my mommy standing there, arguing and fighting. I just saw my mommy laying on the floor in a puddle of blood. The red liquid was coming out of her belly and flooded around her. Her eyes were wide open and her brown hair had become red of her blood. I whispered her name and grabbed her hand as I knelt next to her. The tears were falling down my cheeks like a waterfall. Her blood was now on my white pajamas. My hands were painted with her blood as I tried to shake her awake.

There has to be something I can do to fight back stronger, but I don’t know what it is. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I see Aunt Mary beginning to stir. “Aunt Mary!” I shout. “Get up. Help!” She shakes her head a few times, as if she’s trying to get her brain to work. Then, she’s back with me. Sitting up, she whirls her hands out in front of her. I see a trail of blood pouring down the side of her head, but she doesn’t seem too bothered by it as she hits the witch with her light.

In the next instant, she slapped him across the face and hissed, "Chase, it should be an honor for you to marry me! How dare you get yourself involved with other women?" As she lashed out at him, she delivered several blows to his face. With his head hung down, he retreated backward meekly, lacking even the courage to retaliate. I snorted, leisurely watching the scene before me. Chase, the mafia boss who had once been a somewhat influential figure in the underground world, now seemed so servile in front of a woman. How ironic. I lifted my hand, signaling Skylar to inform the others now. Chase's incompetency had just extinguished the very last sliver of hope I had for him.

"That's a cocktail containing vodka, tomato juice, and combinations of other spices and flavorings. And did you know?" My lips begin to smile wider. "Bloody Mary has been called the world's most complex cocktail." He added. Suddenly he extended to me me three Tabasco, "To spice up your Bloody Mary." I take it with my hand. "I think you've sold your drink pretty well."
