My face was so badly burnt that I resorted to wearing a mask throughout the day not to scare the remaining survivors. My Beta had two missing fingers, and some of the warriors had no legs and hands. My mate thought through everything well because she knew it would take time to kill us all, that's why she ordered her so-called family to leave my warriors crippled or dead. Luckily, only a few women and children were killed, but sadly I couldn't say the same for the pack men.

Their wolves stir restlessly, thirsting for blood. Yet none of them moved. This wasn't because they were afraid. But because, for the first time in their lives, they genuinely believed they would only get in the way. The masked woman moved through the battlefield like a force of nature. Swift, relentless, and untouchable, she weaved through Silvervale's ranks with terrifying ease. Compared to her, they felt less like reinforcements and more like spectators watching an unstoppable storm tear through an army. So all they could do was stand there in stunned silence and watch as a lone woman single-handedly crushed more than two hundred warriors.

Only her red hair was visible to me but I could almost imagine her pink button nose scrunching up as it always did, as she talked.

A stupid smirk planted itself on Todd's face, and the thin thread that was my self-control snapped. I moved with the speed of light and landed a punch on his face. Jes blinked innocently at the blad man while hugging that raccoon close to her chest protectively. "Yes I saw her paying you this huge amount of money." Sage said while parting her arms wide, the action made her assets bounce. Raphael instantly looked away uncomfortably. God! That woman had abnormally large breasts for her small figure. "That was a donation. Those animals are not for sale. And I had explained that to your friend before both of you stole that raccoon and ran off." The blad man snarled defensively.

With Miguel's return to the room, the two could come across two guys standing at his door, one with brown hair in a well-aligned haircut, a shaved beard and standing with his hands in his pockets while the other was talking super excitedly, gesturing a lot. This one had dark blond hair combed back. As Miguel approached the duo, he put his hand on Catherine's shoulder, making her look at him a little scared at first. His hand was warm, and he had to take a step to his side, which made her smell his wonderful scent. It was Miguel's perfume, with a woody odor that matched perfectly with his lumberjack style. The trance in her mind was broken when she heard him introduce her.
