Matt interrupted sharply, the gun in his hand trembling. At this point, Matt couldn't take it any longer. He'd kill Lucas first. He removed the gun from Valerie's head and then aimed. The defeaning sound of a gunshot echoed through the air. Eyes wide with shock and parted lips was the reaction from almost everyone. “No!!” Valerie screamed.

Matheus couldn’t keep himself upright and collapsed, blood running down his leg, his body succumbing to the pain. "It seems that I will have to do this myself, won't I?" Braston said, pressing the gun against Matheus's head. Matheus closed his eyes, resigned to the mercy blow that seemed inevitable. "You just had to leave my family alone, brother... Goodbye," he murmured coldly. His finger was already on the trigger when the sharp sound of a gunshot echoed. Matheus opened his eyes, surprised. The shot did not come from the gun pointed at him. Braston staggered back, feeling a sharp pain pierce his left arm. The gun slipped from his fingers, and he looked incredulously at the shooter.

Matteo raised his gun, shaking, teeth gritted. “You don’t get to talk anymore.” Lazaro collapsed. No final words. No dramatic last breath. He just... died. That's all that matters now. We are just outside the shelter. It should be easy to go in if not for the bullets raining around us. Yvonne shrieked when the concrete wall behind us was hit. "Fuck," I growled as I held her tighter. "Stay down." "Go in!" Matias yelled as he ran closer to us. He was shooting against the enemies when he suddenly fell. He was shot! "We have to move," I pulled her arms to help her when I saw a red dot on my chest. Fuck! I'm targetted! I had no choice but to grab Yvonne, pulling her to drop to the ground as I covered her.

I couldn't even move. "Laura, run." Matteo said as he pulled out his gun finally identifying where the gunshots were coming from "Please, don't hurt my son," Maya screamed to nobody else in particular. Matteo was talking to her and that was when I noticed what the gun man's target was. MATTEO. Matteo was facing back, when I saw the gunman about to fire, without hesitating, I threw myself in front of Matteo. The bullet struck me in the stomach, but I barely noticed the pain. All I could think about was saving the man I loved.

“You think she’ll thank you for putting a bullet in her brain?” “I’m saving her!” Matt sobbed. “From you!” “Then look at her,” I challenged. “Look at what you’ve done to the woman you love.” Matt hesitated. His eyes flickered down to Eliana’s face for a fraction of a second. It was all I needed. Bang. The shot didn’t come from me. It came from the catwalk. Christian. The bullet struck Matt’s right shoulder, shattering the bone. Matt screamed, the gun flying from his hand as he spun around from the impact. He collapsed to the ground, clutching his shoulder.

Her hands gripped mine tightly, and as she struggled, she explained, "Let me go! I'm not pretending. I don't remember anything. I don't know who Aliyah is..." I squeeze more force, "I give you one last chance. If you continue to deceive me, don't blame me for strangling you!" His posture was relaxed in the way predators were relaxed—because they knew they were in control. Other men stood nearby. Silent. Obedient. Waiting for his command. Matteo clenched a gun in his hand, playing with the trigger. His smile was so different from what he had ever seen. It was cruel. " I have not need for you." his voice carried in a cold echo. A gunshot ran out. The whimpering man tied to a chair stopped whimpering. A hole in the middle of his head. Blood splattered on his shirt. He tsked in disgust.
