Trying to rewrite the story. My thumb trembled as I opened the message. My heart slammed hard enough to shake the bones in my chest. I MISS YOU. I WANT TO SEE YOU. I didn’t even finish reading before I threw off the covers. The floor was cool beneath my feet. My blood surged, hot and loud, a tidal wave crashing through my veins.

Daren nodded in agreement. "Hi, How are you?" now Daren turned to talk to me. I smiled "yeah, I'm fine" I replied.
