A Night with the Billionaire Heir

A Night with the Billionaire Heir

I’ve never cared enough about anyone in that way so I was clueless. I watched as she got into the bed and I waited till I was sure she was deep asleep before I then went to take my shower. I slipped back into my shirt since there was nothing to change into. Our luggage is still missing. I quietly got into bed on the other side but it wasn’t up to ten minutes when the storm started. Heavy rain slammed against the windows while thunder shook the building. The lights flickered twice and then everything went dark. “I can’t believe this!” Lyra groaned from the other side of the bed while I rubbed my forehead.

Shadows of the night

Shadows of the night

Afterwards I decide to go back upstairs and rest for the remainder of the evening. Night falls, and with it a thunderstorm stirs up. Lightening cracks and for some reason outside of my bedroom, I swear I see sinister red eyes peering in at me. Feel like it must be the exhaustion of the day. I close the blinds, turn on N*****x. I feel dread again as a precaution. I make sure the house is locked up with the deadbolts he installed. I also lock my room to make sure I am extra safe. I snuggle up with a blanket and put on the TV. I change my mind about N*****x and put on “Discovery of Witches” on A****n Prime. Wishing I could find a man like Matthew.

One Night After Betrayal

One Night After Betrayal

Alexander stood near the floor-to-ceiling windows of his penthouse apartment, staring at the Paris skyline while dawn slowly painted the city in pale gold. He should step back. That would be the logical decision. Amelia clearly carried emotional scars deeper than she admitted. Pushing too hard would only make her retreat further. But logic stopped working the moment it came to her. Because every time she pulled away, he found himself wanting to close the distance even more. It was becoming a problem. A dangerous one. His phone vibrated against the counter behind him. Nathan. Alexander answered immediately. “What is it?” “We got more information on Natasha Brown.”

The Heartless Alpha’s Beloved Luna

The Heartless Alpha’s Beloved Luna

Avery’s POV The entourage of cars entered the dark forest after we had been traveling for several hours the next day. The shadows beneath the tall pines were deep and gloomy. I stared into the murky depths of the woods and thought we must be drawing close to Nightwolf Village. Gideon and Dierdra had ridden in the other car, leaving me to my own thoughts. Gideon hadn’t even looked at me as we had prepared to leave this morning, although he remarked that I didn’t appear to have much luggage.

Anyone who said they love the store after reading 500+ chapters is lying lmao. The story literally goes nowhere. Same issues between Gideon and Avery, just different people. No depth to the story whatsoever, it’s almost like it’s AI generated at this point

First book that I read and completed on this app. My coworker and I got soooo hooked. It’s all we were talking about in the office for 3 weeks until we finally finished lol. Now we don’t know what else to read. Nothing will compare. Great story!!!

The Whispers in the Woods

The Whispers in the Woods

A rush of adrenaline surged through me as I leaped gracefully from one moss-covered tree to the next, my body propelled by the exhilaration of the chase, driven by the tantalizing scent of a deer wafting on the crisp night air. Beneath me, I could feel the rhythmic heartbeats of Brodie and Jackson resonating through the ground, their powerful forms racing like shadows as they took on their wolf guise. The thrill of hunting together had been our way of strengthening our bond and sharpening our skills, an ancient tradition that felt as natural as breathing. Yet, it was becoming increasingly clear that the night served a deeper purpose; it was also a chance for Brodie to blow off steam, his fru

she said. I nodded at her once more and she flashed me a smile before closing the door behind her. I slumped on my bed again with a sigh. My mind was engulfed by the incident in the woods. I had to get out of my mind and focus. The last thing I wanted was for Lauren to notice how lost I am. Today was just my first day in Winstonville and it was more enthralling than it had been in Washington. Maybe moving to this town wasn’t bad after all. I stood up from my bed and headed into the shower.

Beyond Night

Beyond Night

After a swig, Porcius replied, “I understand just fine, but getting my ass killed for foolish curiosity isn’t in the handbook, is it?” Severus said smartly, “We’ll ride along to the left, over where the natural road path moves out of Rutland and into the outlying areas. If you want to circle about the woods, have a care, but watch the skies. It’ll be dark in an hour.”

In the Grip of king Roderick

In the Grip of king Roderick

And as she pressed forward into the night, a new determination ignited within her—to uncover the truth behind the inferno and to ensure that the horrors of that night would never be forgotten. Amidst the solemn hush of the woods, Elara's feet carried her like a wayward spirit through the labyrinth of towering trees. The branches overhead formed an intricate canopy, filtering the moonlight into scattered fragments that painted the forest floor in a patchwork of silver and shadow. Each step she took seemed to resonate with the whispering secrets of the woods, as if the very earth beneath her was guiding her toward safety.

HE CHEATED, I CHOSE THE TWIN ALPHA

HE CHEATED, I CHOSE THE TWIN ALPHA

“Is this some kind of horror movie?” But Cynthia wasn’t smiling. And neither was I. When he noticed our serious expressions, his laughter slowly faded. He looked at me directly. “You’re serious?” he asked. “Yes,” I replied quietly. The woods behind the school weren’t normal woods. At night, they belonged to the wolves. To secrets. To things that didn’t want to be seen. Students who wandered there at the wrong time… didn’t always return. Dennis glanced toward the trees. For a brief second, something changed in his eyes.

Iridian

I more confirmed than asked, "And it'll be Night where we're going." "Yup, and not where we're going, where you're going." He corrected, making the knot in my stomach grow a little bigger. "Both sides can be dangerous at night, especially in the woods. I'll get ya to the estate and from there--well, only you can determine where you might want to go next." "How will I get back to this side of the map?" I asked just a tad worried. He clearly just stated it was dangerous at night, and while I managed to survive this far, I knew I wouldn't make it an entire night in this creature infested forest. In a human forest, I was the biggest predator. In this forest--who knew what lurked out there.

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet
