Alvin’s black wings with fiery outlines added to the intimidation, and Damon’s jagged canines glimmered dangerously in the dim light.

I want my brother to see everything.” I shuffle my knees apart on the rubber. The air kisses between my thighs, cold and intrusive. I knew most of the humans and others that worked on the force, even though I had been a thorn in their side in the past, they tolerated me. "Garret, I need you to check on something for me. Nigel Senior is my father, and Alpha Nolan is my older brother." Falcon tilted his head, smirking. "And by the looks of you, I can tell you play on my team." Noah smiled warmly. "Yes. I am mated to a man." "Slay," Falcon whispered, then winked. Before anyone could respond, Cameron sniffed the air and raised his brow. "Something smells really good..."

I flick Atlas the finger, he gives me the v’s. The rest of the guys take their turn, Calli is out but Nolan is through. He’s a mean shot and has only missed a few goals over the last games. Shame he isn’t coming to Dallas with Atlas and I. Man, I can’t believe that’s just in a few weeks’ time.

Nolan softened his voice, without taking his eyes off Liam and Amy. “I hope you're happy to be a part of this.” With a discreet nod, he turned and left, accompanied by Fred, Tiago, and Diana. Everyone returned to their usual table, leaving behind a cafeteria full of whispers and stares. Nolan sat down, but his mind was far away. This was only the beginning. And he swore, by everything sacred to wolves... that he would discover the truth. Even if he had to tear it out with his own claws.
