There were trees that bordered the property all around us and kept the prying eyes of neighbouring land owners away from us. Every year my parents had to attend the Illinois Dragonkin Ball which consisted of seventeen year old teens eager to meet their bonded halves or to complete the ceremony in front of the Elders. According to my father Bazzoit had spoken to Typhon in the dragon realm and they had altered how the ceremonies worked.

He was the deepest thinker of all, so it is natural that he never misses a point. “You are right, Dad C. The first type of dragons who produce their own power are known as ‘Imperial Dragons’. They mostly use their spirit animal’s energy which is the hardest to harness,” I answered patiently but was interrupted by Dad Valen. “Xador ?! Is he one of them ?” he asked.

dragons.A dragon so big laying comfortably on the stairs, his skin so beautifully blue...his tail was elegantly long.He was a monster."A dragon!" Alexandra said in a high pitched tone. His face moved...eyes wide open. The colour so adorable, it wasn't even just any colour but it changed from second to second. From green to yellow to red then to blue, he stared at the tiny little humans in front of them.In the wintry weather, he hibernated, they know he awoke by the sudden yell of excited Alexandra. He stood up arcing with out-stretched wings, each as brilliant as stained glass, they held their breath for a while, eyes wide.Perhaps it was the moment they waited for...the struggle...but was it wo

After returning back after an hour, he found the Drake Hamilton, the most powerful and the richest Dragons alive, standing in front of his house with what smells like a coffee cup in his hand. He seems to be enjoying his morning coffee. "Mr Hamilton" Sean greeted the dragon respectfully. In the Dragon world, the orange dragons are considered as the royalty. the green dragons are most like their advisers and ministers. The red dragons are like soldiers. Sean knows the difference in their statures. So he greeted the dragon respectfully. Drake noticed the green dragon returning back from his work. "Sean" he greeted him as well. Sean walked towards Drake with slow measured steps. "I found a dead

I was the lowest-born black serpent in the Serpent Clan, yet the Dragon Court's most honored crown prince chose me as his bride. He gave up his betrothal to my sister, surrendered his place as heir, and walked away from the Dragon Court for me. I was moved beyond words and became his wife. But after I gave birth to only a black serpent, he flew into a rage. He crushed our baby beneath his foot, then killed me with a single strike of his sword. As I was dying, I saw hatred burning in his eyes. "If I'd known you were this useless, I should've married your sister!" Only then did I learn the truth. I was the woman of fate named in the Dragon Court's forbidden book, the one born with primord

Even through the dome, Avi felt the power of their wingbeats, ancient, colossal dragons whose shadows stretched across the sky. Cain leaned in slightly. “Perfect timing,” he murmured. Avi swallowed hard. She’d never seen Grenons up close before. She’d heard stories of massive dragons who never shifted, older than half the structures in the city. Wise, territorial, and capable of firestorms that could melt steel. But tonight… they came in peace. A ceremonial tone rang across the plaza. Trace’s voice echoed over the speakers, calm and commanding: “People of Osca, As requested by our honored neighbors and protectors,

Draco, it was what the bloodthirsty king called Lucian. Draco is the latin word for Dragon. Did the king lie to me? Why did he say it meant devil? I continued reading. The dragon is the largest snake of all snakes and is the… A spicy scent filled the room and made me look around. Was Lucian here? Looking around I found no one. Strange. I tried to go back to reading but felt a presence in the room, as if someone was watching me. My heart started to beat faster in fear while my eyes scanned the room ready to run as soon as I found a threat.

By dragon law, I need to have one in the next five years if I want to continue my rule, if I do not produce one, my insane brother could try to claim the throne, and no one would want that. I am a full dragon and with that, I need to be even more careful. Half breeds: that is what the council wants. That is what is safe. Half noble human and half dragon are what bloodlines are supposed to be made of when royalty breeds. When two full-blood royal dragons mate, you risk health issues along with the possibility of mental instability…. Like what happened with my twin brother Sanderson and me. We were born from the same egg, we look identical, but are nothing alike… he should be locked up in an i

Jackson, leaning forward with keen interest, interrupted, “Does it happen instantly? Or does it take time?” Shaking his head with a mysterious expression, Dragon replied, “There’s no fixed rule. Sometimes, the feeling is immediate and powerful. Other times, it’s gradual, like slowly discovering a missing piece of yourself.” But Jerry, not entirely satisfied with the answer, gave Dragon a challenging look. Suddenly, he asked a question that was like a stone dropped into still water: “And you, Dragon? Who is your mate?”

Jade moved to sit on the bed, with her legs crossed. “What exactly is a Dragon’s mate?” “Basically, it is just like a husband and wife. It is a Dragon’s way of getting married. Except a little different. You see when a Dragon finds his mate, there is no other female for him. They are extremely loyal. In fact, it is physically impossible for a Dragon to be with anyone other than their mate.” Staring at her blankly, I waited for her to continue explaining it to me.
