Protecting the Wolfless Enigma

Protecting the Wolfless Enigma

No longer worried about my safety, I ignored the cracking of ice that I heard under me. Wanting to save my best friend, I wiped away the light layer of snow on the ice. Moving around on the ice, I continued to brush away the dusting of snow. After what felt like an eternity, I screamed when I found her face pressed against the ice, as she was pounding on it with her tiny fists.

So far, this book is off the charts, great grammar, and punctuation with very few mistakes. Great dialog and plot. I am also reading the "Alpha's Moon Princess," which is also great so far. I believe that this author has GREAT potential and will go far!!! ............ great job, Ms. Karson!!

I love this story. I have re-read it many times. Not only is it interesting, but you find out more about each character. There's a bit of a mystery involving one of the main characters she is adopted, and she doesn't know who her true parents are; but most of all, she finds true love.

Fire And Ice

Fire And Ice

She smelt of rain. Misha always smelt of flowers. She... She smelt of rain. Suddenly, Axel wished it was raining. * The two figures came closer, Fire and Ice, with the moon shining at both of them, glad that they would meet under Her watchful gaze, smiling when the two clashed finally and would prove once and for all, the power of love itself. Let the magic begin.

Beneath His Ice

Beneath His Ice

Something that made every primitive survival instinct I had start screaming warnings. The temperature in the room felt like it had physically dropped. I could almost see my breath, though I knew that was impossible. It was like standing too close to a frozen lake, feeling the cold radiating up from depths you couldn't fathom. His stillness was more threatening than any movement could have been. It was the stillness of a predator that had locked onto its target, that was calculating distance and angle and opportunity. The stillness that comes right before violence.

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

THE ICE Stepping out of the plane was like stepping onto another planet. The air was so cold it burned. It was minus forty degrees. At that temperature, exposed skin freezes in minutes. Moisture in your nose turns to ice instantly. We stood on the surface of a massive frozen lake. The plane lay behind us, a broken gray bird in the snow. All around us, mountains rose like white teeth, scraping the sky. "Coordinates?" Damian asked, pulling on his heavy parka. Kai checked a handheld GPS unit. "It's dead. Battery drained." He looked at Leo. "Sorry, kid. You ate the map." "It doesn't matter," I said. I reached into my pocket and pulled out the metal plate—the key from Eleanor’s journal. I held it

The Alpha's Regret Came Too Late

The Alpha's Regret Came Too Late

I stood at the river's edge and listened, and there was only the water, and the wind in the trees above, and the distant sound of Raines calling my name from the top of the ravine. I walked the bank. Upstream first, twenty meters, torch low, checking every eddy and obstruction, every place where the current slowed enough to deposit what it carried. The ice at the margins was intact—recent ice, thin and brittle, the kind that forms in still water overnight and would not have held any weight. Intact meant undisturbed. I noted it and continued.

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

Elena’s fingers were numb from gripping the rag so tightly. She’d been scrubbing the same stubborn spot on the window for ten full minutes, pressing harder with every pass, but the frost refused to give. Regular ice would have softened under the warmth of her breath and the weak morning light seeping through the glass. This wasn’t regular ice. This was Maya’s ice—Silver Wolf ice—thin, glittering, and unnaturally stubborn. It clung to the pane like it had roots buried deep in the glass, a silent, shimmering accusation that something ancient and forbidden had woken up in this tiny room last night.

SASHA THE LAKE IS FROZEN SOLID, blending into the land. Everything covered by a uniform blanket of snow. The only markings on the surface are the triangular tracks made by geese and other animals in search of food. My own boot-prints cross on top of them as I make my way slowly over the ice.

DIRTY PAGES (A Short Story Collection)

CONTENT WARNING: Explicit language, alcohol consumption, mild hazing/pranking between colleagues. MMF threesome with some M on M action. CHAPTER ONE "Watch your footing. The ice is tricky here." I brace myself, planting each step with care, letting the studs on my boots bite into the frozen surface with a satisfying crunch.

Off the Ice

Off the Ice

The midnight ice was a flat, dark mirror. By midnight, the cooling units beneath the Madison Square Garden concrete had dialed down to their lowest operational threshold, dropping the ambient temperature of the third subterranean level to a bitter, dry fourteen degrees. The thin layer of frost that settled over the red and blue lines gave the sheet a ghostly, unblemished sheen.
