THE LUNA'S FATE; A Cursed Omega's Rise

THE LUNA'S FATE; A Cursed Omega's Rise

For the third time. I turned slowly, scanning the forest around me, trees watching like silent sentinels. The leaves whispered above my head like they were gossiping about me, mocking me. I hissed under my breath. “Fine. You want to play with me? Go ahead. I’m not stopping.” The trees didn’t answer. Just the same low wind brushing my skin, the same rustling leaves that felt too intentional to be harmless. Like the forest was alive. And it didn’t want me here.

So much so that it made me tear up. “Is everything okay?” She closed her book and sat up. I shook my head. “It’s fine. Any way you can tone down the power?” Chuckling, Mom shook her head. “It’s not me. It’s the tree. He’s a transplant from the Fey Realm and likes to show the earth how superior he is. Did you want to go to another room?”

Surviving the World to Escape Him

Surviving the World to Escape Him

a panicked voice came. “The trees, aaah!” branches cracked as they moved “It’s the forest spirit!” another urgent voice cried out. “Get us out, someone help!” that voice sounded like it was suddenly cut out by something then silence. I was still shocked looking at the trees bent in a very delicate way as if there were woven together. Creating a barrier that protected us.

The Ascension

The Ascension

“Have you ever thought of doing something for your people to reciprocate their worship?” Question marks seemingly appeared above the boy’s head. Even without Baram saying it, he was confused about why he had to do anything for people who merely chanted strange prayers every now and then, or called out his name when asking for protection from storm and landslide. In this Tree Deity’s recollection, they were not really related to him. Some random bird was the one who dropped the seed in that land that later grew into the tall tree that was him. The natives never tended for him. They never watered him, or put fertilizer around him that would enrich the soil. None of them came to help ward off t

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

The Lycans' Broken Luna

The Lycans' Broken Luna

But Myrna didn't see any lies at all. “The Tree Fairies or The Dryads, are the guardians of the forest. They are also usually called, the spirit of the tree. They live side by side with nature and even unite with it. They have the power to balance the growth of natural ecosystems and also maintain their diversity. Dryads are generally shaped like plants or trees that are chosen by their fairy soul. But they also have human forms. Usually, it has plants or flowers growing within them…. That's what I read." Lilly recalled what she had read in the library. "Only that?" Myrna asked and Lilly nodded.

The Luna's Blood Moon: She Refused To Bow

The Luna's Blood Moon: She Refused To Bow

It's almost like she's expecting something to jump out of the trees to hurt us. “It's not the wind, I'm sure of it. It's the trees, they're whispering.” "They're trying to tell us something,” Cassian says, coming to a halt. The playfulness that was once in Cassian's eyes has evaporated so quickly, like a candle flame snuffed out by the wind. "The trees? They're trying to tell us something?” I ask, turning to stare at him. "Yes. They remember every soul that has ever walked beneath their branches,” he replies, nodding once.

Damn! there is a lot to unpack in this book. I feel bad for Menodora and I hope she gets out safe, but at the same time I think she could have avoided some problems herself. like going close to dead Body she knew could implicate her. they obviously don't like her, she should have been more careful

Sitting on the vintage chair of the bedside table, he wandered in his new world again. The traveller was unaware of what happened to the talkative tree. The unknown world was full of similar trees, and some of them wanted to journey with him. As the man shaded to one of them as the scorching heat of their so-called Supreme Being, burning his skin; the silent tree let him. The leaves left on one of their comrades gusted through the wind, carried out images of them withered, a symbol in which the comrade lasted his journey together with the traveller. The rustling of the trunks, branches and leaves of the other comrades unfolded the brave story of the certain tree, creating sorrowful roars all

Coming of Age the Fast Way

Coming of Age the Fast Way

Day 20. Saturday. I woke this morning with a whirlwind of thoughts crashing through my brain, ripping trees out as it progressed. But I haven’t any trees in my brain. I use trees metaphorically. But what were the trees representing? Then I woke and realised that the trees were part of my dream. In which case ‘trees in the brain’ are allowed.

Knotting the Hunter

Knotting the Hunter

At ankle level for whatever caused this. But that’s insane, so I don’t share my thoughts with the class. "You know what I did before this, human? Twenty-two years of forestry. I've seen wind do things you wouldn't believe. Wind didn't do this. Wind pushes." She pats the trunk. Gently. Gentler than anything she's aimed at me. "Something got annoyed that the tree was in its way and got rid of it." Genuine fury in her voice. "This one was ninety years old," she adds. To the pine. Not to me.

This book is so good! The 3 books I’ve read so far from this author are on my top 5 favorite on this app and this one is about to be #4! Love the writing style and love the humor in the story. I’m rooting for Dax and Noah!

Really enjoying this book so far, this is definitely one of my favorites male male books I've read on here. Quinn is really good at those it seems. Especially the relationships, but the side characters and conflict are super compelling too. Excited to read more.

The Immortal Emperor Returns

The Immortal Emperor Returns

It was the Tree communicating, "No." That seemed rather interesting to Chu Xun. During his time at the alien domain, only divine trees could form sentience of their own. Trees of Transfiguration were by no means any divine trees, but mere trees which had mutated. "Are you giving me your fruits or not? Perhaps I should uproot you to encourage you," said Chu Xun, trying to intimidate it, even though the notion made him doubled down with laughter on the inside. Hum! The Tree gave another violent shiver and hurled another salvo of more than a dozen fruits at Chu Xun.
