Elena woke with a jolt, her stomach twisting in a way that made her pause. The nausea was sharper than usual, a tight, uneasy sensation that lingered even as she swung her legs over the side of the bed. Gracie woke up with a terrible cramp around her belly. It was certainly surprising for her since she doesn't usually get cramps.
