I chose the strapless long red dress, it made my waist look smaller and I felt like I deserved to be going on a date with the man I thought was finer than freshly sliced bread. Eight o'clock came around and I heard a horn beep, I look out my apartment window it was Blake holding a single black rose, Blake told me "you're the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, you're not like all the other girls I've met". I went blank and stared at the back rose, I had never seen one before so I was mesmerised.

I've been so engrossed in getting away from here that I totally forgot my safe place. Poems. There was something about every poem I loved because in a way, I related to them. I quickly thought of the exact one to recite. It was then. Another favorite piece by a poet I found on internet which goes as, “When everything’s darkness And you feel so alone, When the rain doesn’t stop And you can’t make it home…” I trailed out. The wordings of the song registered my head. Was everything darkness for me? Following how I was kidnapped from my home, it was dark.

Yet again, Amelia was reminded of the song, “ I am not alone. ” by Kari Jobe. The song helped her out of those days where she didn't feel like going on… days where she felt tired of fighting. “ Thanks, Rien. ” she presented him with her best smile as they kept on dancing. “ You welcome, Princess. ” he patted her hair lovingly as he'd always done.

"There's a poem there I'm going to Recite it." Bryan looked hesitant, he opened the book and gazed back at me. I'm not alone anymore, and goodness does it feel fantastic. So this is the final part of "Alone" and I can't believe it's over. It's the longest book I've written but it's also been so fun to write. I'm sorry to keep waiting for the updates. And thank you all for the patience, love and support!

As I scrolled down, I came across a photo. Her account was mostly filled with videos of her singing. She rarely shared photos. In this one, she was sitting at a table, hand on her cheek, gazing out at the sea. My eyes drifted to the caption underneath: They do not know, those who do not live alone, What fear silence brings to a person; How a person speaks to themselves; How they run to mirrors, Longing for a soul, They do not know. She’d shared a poem by a Turkish author.
