I walked back to the car with my jaw clenched so tight I thought it might crack. “Do you want me to drive?” Renan offered softly. “No,” I growled. “Callie needs you more.” I shut the car door harder than I meant to and gripped the steering wheel with both hands. The leather groaned beneath my fingers. I had failed. She was out there, alone, pregnant, hunted, and somehow... She was mine. I didn’t understand it fully. Didn’t know what it meant yet. All I knew was this unbearable, gnawing ache in my chest that wouldn’t let up.

I grabbed my stuff and rushed out, she is already waiting for me in the car. "Dude, it's been hours..." She exclaimed. "Shut up... I am only half an hour late..." I dumped my stuff in the back seat and sat beside her. "Spill..." She started the car and I took a shaky breath. "What?" Mila suddenly hit the break and almost banged my head. "Mila, you are pregnant for fuck sake... Drive carefully..." I yelled at her. "Grace Dominick Marino!?" She ignored my yelling and looked at me like she has seen a ghost.

I huffed then got in, okay fine I know I’m pregnant but I wanna drive. As we were driving Locus started speeding more than usual, he wouldn’t ever drive this fast while I was with him. I kept looking at the view mirror when I noticed he was looking back, I turned my back and saw 2 black cars behind us, “are they following us?” I was scared. He didn’t answer, then I looked behind us again and they were following us anywhere we were going. “Are they fucking following us?” I yelled at him, he looked at me and nodded his head. “I will lose them, don't be scared, baby.”

Her eyes closed, and for an instant, everything was all right. Then, a knock on the door. It was light at first. Then again. Louder. Sophia and I looked at each other with a confused expression. "Who could that be?" she asked. "I don't know," I grumbled, standing up. I walked over to the door and opened it. And there she was. Cara. Standing there, her clothes dirty, her face pale, and her belly swollen—she was pregnant. Very pregnant. "Damon…" she whispered. Her eyes were red from crying. She looked thin, like she hadn't eaten in weeks.

Mia POV I’m tied up, and my arm is hurting. The rogues hurled me into the van. I’m visibly pregnant, and they hurled me into the van without a car. Thankfully, I managed to move my body enough to not land on my stomach. I’ll take the arm pain over harming my pup any day of the week. I hear them snickering and saying vulgar things about wanting to take the pregnant woman. It sends a shiver down my spine, but I want to know what’s going on.

Even if I marry Bianca, it’s you. My throat tightened. Hot tears burned at the backs of my eyes, but I forced them back. Crying wouldn’t change the truth written in pink lines across plastic. I sank down onto the cold tile floor, my back against the tub, legs pulled up like they could shield me. For a few seconds—minutes?—I just sat there, staring at nothing, listening to the hammer of my pulse in my ears. Pregnant. A bitter laugh bubbled up before I could choke it down. “Congratulations, Carla. You managed to ruin your life twice over with the same man.”

The words landed heavy, her whole world suddenly stilling for a second. She was pregnant. “Good, thank you,” she heard Alaric say to the doctor. “You may leave now.” She heard the door click shut again, Alaric speaking up the second they were alone again. “You heard him. You’re pregnant. You’re carrying my heir. The heir to the Storm pack.” “Let’s talk again during dinner about the changes that’ll be taking place now,” he continued. “For now, I need to inform my mother and make necessary preparations. I’ll see you later then.”

She sighed, and before getting in, she joked, “I think I’m the only one without my own car… I really look like the maid here. Hahaha—now I’m wondering if I’m a guest or just an extra in my own life’s movie.” Sliding into the seat beside Dark, she nudged him lightly. “Next time, I want my own driver too, okay? So I don’t look like some hitchhiker in my own drama.” Dark snorted, handing her the seatbelt. “Promise, when you’re positive… you’ll have your own limo.” “Positive? As in… with the Golden Sperm?” “Yup. I even prepared a banner.” “Wow.” But how am I supposed to be pregnant with the Golden Sperm? We don’t even have anything going on, she thought.

It had burst through the door. I sat curled on the couch with a blanket around my shoulders, Finn asleep upstairs, and Rhys pacing the floor like a caged animal. The only sound in the room was the low hum of the air conditioner and the occasional creak of the wood floor beneath his feet. The photo of the sonogram still burned in my hand, as if letting it go would make it real or maybe unreal… Ciara. Pregnant. With Rhys’ child. The words echoed in my mind like a drumbeat. Rhys had called her. She didn’t pick up.

I make sure I have my phone in my pocket and go through all my luggage in my head, making sure I didn't forget anything. "Ready?" I look at Denjiel, seeing him holding the steeringwheel with one hand while the other one is one the gearbox. I nod my head and I can see his arm musscles flex when he puts drives the car from our porch. It instantly reminds me of our wild night together, seeing those arms flex beside my head while he thrusts into me. God, I've had so many dreams about that night. Why not do it again? We both obviously want it. Who cares right? I'm already pregnant anyway.
