From the last few days, Malek was sensing someone coming to her room at night. She was a heavy sleeper but there was the sense of a presence near her when she was asleep. She shrugged it as being her dream but what type of dream was it that she has been constantly seeing since a week. Trying to keep her thoughts at bay, Malek quickly changed into her dress for today. It was career day at the company and students from universities who wanted to join the company were coming today to get an insight of the company.

She looked up at the moon again and couldn't help the peculiar sensation as if it was following her. She had a premonition that somehow, everything wouldn't turn in the good direction from now on.

Brady frantically called her name, but Ceara's calming voice rang louder in Kaida's head. "What's happening?" "I...see someone." A sharp pang seared through her skull, and she screamed. Ariana’s POV Some mornings feel like prophecy. The kind that don’t come with thunder or signs in the sky. Just a strange stillness. An awareness that something beneath the surface is about to shift — not explode, not collapse — but tilt. Subtly. Permanently. That was today. Chapter Thirty-Six Rhea opened her eyes with a sharp inhale. She was back in her room. The ceiling above her came into focus as she slowly sat up. Her head throbbed painfully, and her heart was racing as if she had just run a marathon. Everything felt too loud, too overwhelming. The dream she had… no, it was more than a dream. It felt like a warning, a premonition. Her hands trembled slightly as she ran them through her hair. A plague. Something terrible was about to happen. She didn’t know where or when it would begin—but she had seen it, experienced the dread and horror in that place. The thought that she might be too late haunted her already.

He nods and pours a glass of the spiced wine for himself. “Can- can the future be changed?” I ask. “Yes, that’s the whole reason the Goddess sends premonitions, so we can alter the course of the future. Otherwise, what’s the point of them?” I nod and sip my wine. It’s not bad. Sweet and fragrant, and it reminds me that the premonition I had wasn’t real. It was a dream, like Johnathan said before I lost touch with this world and slipped away into the other one.
