I picked up the book again, inspecting the worn out pages under the lamp resting on my nightstand. If Ginny heard my aggressive flipping, she didn't comment on it. "Keera?" She called out warily when I had been quiet for too long. I had flipped to the last page. No other page had been torn. Just the page that according to the book's table of contents was under the section labeled portions.

Angela’s high pitched voice hit everyone’s ear like a bomb. They came out of their boring searching and rushed to her side. Miles was happy she found it and gave her a quick peck. Her cheeks flushed with red. She was nervous and surprised. That was the last thing she expected from him. Maybe she needed to start finding more things. Justin took the book, heading for the table. He placed it on it, flipping the book open to the first page. The cover of the book was a beautiful looking woman, holding a wand the color of cinnamon with a golden persimmon placed at the top of it.

Then, just as she was about to close the book, a breez e stirred the pages. Even though the windows were shut. And on the floor beside her, burned into the hardwood — A single, glowing rune.

The thought made me mutter under my breath, "I wonder how Raven's doing right now." If things were repeating the same as before, today should be the first day Snowviper fed on her. Too bad I couldn't see it with my own eyes. Blazewing caught the look on my face and smirked. "Wanna see something fun?" He pulled out a bronze mirror and handed it to me, all secretive. Right then, Blazewing breathed fire across the surface, and the glass shimmered instantly, clearing to reveal an image.

Mariah asked, “If it’s dangerous, why to keep it?” Immediately a fire started right at the heart of the book causing Anna and Mariah to gasp, leaning back as Abigail watched the fire Ena had started right in between the pages of the book till it died out. Ena put her hand down withdrawing the fire, "it has been tried, but as you can see, it can't be destroyed. This is not a regular book. This is not just dark magic," she replied and the witches were awed at the sight of the book which stood proudly the same as before.

She turned the handle. The door creaked open. And behind it, There was no sky. No ground, Just a single chair. Facing away from her. Someone sat in it. Reading, A book made of bone. Their voice hummed. And the page they read out loud was Chapter 101.
