I ran up behind that bear and leapt off the ground and landed on his back with my claws dug into his chest while I was clinging to him and he was swinging around trying to get me off his back. I could feel his blood trickling down from where my paws were piercing his skin and he let go of Axel and tried to concentrate on me and he let out a loud roar in pain. Beau, Axel and Cole all got to their feet again and they charged at the bear while I wouldn't let go and attacked him around the neck and legs. He finally buckled and fell to the ground and Axel took the last fatal blow, ripping his throat open but needing to slash him seceral times to get to his throat properly and I stayed where I was

He looks so happy. “Is that bear staring at us?” The beach-looking guy turns in my direction. Shit! I mentally kick myself for staring too long at them. Thinking quick on my paws, I pretend to be searching for something on the shore, using my paw to scrap through the small rocks. Dirt and lake slim get under my claws and I internally gag from the feeling. Just be a normal bear… Wait… how do normal bears act? “That’s one puny-looking bear.” Beach guy laughs.

I was certain that I knew this one and leaned towards Rai. "A death God is nearing, we should introduce ourselves," I mumbled softly and prepared to stand. My eyes began to glow at the numerous Kasa-obake (ghosts) that were coming out of the forest. My mother perked up instantly and watched each spirit with a curious gaze. The Death God followed, its red eyes darted around the area. The dark creature had brought its mate with him and the pair approached Rai and I in deep black wispy tendrils. I told Rai to change into Grim as I changed into my black Death mist. I noticed my mother had changed as well and was coming to our sides, my father and his lady friend were nowhere to be seen making me

“It’s okay. I got to kill a bear.” It was funny watching both of them sag their shoulders in jealousy. “I wanna kill a bear…” Beau whined.

“Like an animal in heat, our Dare Bear found his spring. What a way to announce to you all that our very own Dare Bear will be retiring after tonight to devote his time to his love and their future. Let’s give it up for Dare Bear and wish them a happy life together!” He started the cheering and clapped his hands enthusiastically. The confusion of the crowd died out into a roar of cheers for “Dare Bear”. I laughed with Cindy at the change in energy. I was scared for a minute that we were going to have to wrestle Darren out of there and Rodger was going to have to swipe memories left and right.

It created a long horizontal incision on the bear’s neck and the blood fell like that of a red waterfall. “You did it! Look out!” The bear lost its balance and before it fell to the ground, Asher jumped off from its back. Asher crashed a little, but he was quick to get up on his feet. Seeing the bear’s downfall, Norton knew it was safe to go out now. He stepped out of his hiding and ran towards the two men. They all gathered in circle around the beast. It was still trying to chase its breath, with the pool of blood getting bigger and bigger on the floor. Its eyes were full of sadness and when it finally closed, it took one last breath and the sadness was gone.

The bear started to claw at her, causing a lot of damage, but she didn’t let it go and used her front paws to push her claws further into his skin. It took some time for the bear’s movement to become heavier and slower, and Tamara took the chance to stand on top of it and get a better grip. Then we heard the cracking of his neck, then a soft crunch and the bear’s eyes dimmed as he gurgled while he took his last breath. Tamara let it go and took a couple of steps back, still watching the animal breathe harshly, then stop as he died. Then she turned around to stare at all of us.

By the time he returned to provide support, Logo had already been pinned under the massive bear’s carcass. Upon the death of a druid, their body would revert to its original form. After dragging the bear's pelt a few times, Koloro realized it was no longer fur, but human skin. Logo pushed the corpse off his abdomen and sat up. Since Jesta had been struck dead by the Ghost Needle, his brain pierced through, he lost consciousness instantly, halting his attack. Logo had not sustained any serious injuries, though he felt a little winded. After taking a few breaths to recover, Logo retrieved a flare gun from his pack and squeezed the trigger!

At something behind me, that snarled and thrashed and let out a horrible high keening as Nate’s finger lightning hit it dead-on. I managed to scramble up, turning over to get a better look and getting halfway out from under Nate. Chest to chest, we both stared at the twitching, smoking thing a couple of feet away. “Last I checked, bears don’t wear wrist watches,” Nate said, his voice high and shaky. We both turned our heads, our eyes met, and we dissolved into helpless laughter. Nate collapsed, his shoulders shaking. I levered myself up and offered him a hand, and we both inched a little closer. Definitely a human of some variety, definitely dead quite a while…but not so long that it didn’t

As soon as possible, they all blend into the shadows of the night and disappear, leaving us alone in the silent aftermath of the battle. Death veils the expanse of the field. Several bears lie dead or dying. No one closes in on them. Their own people would come back and give them their funeral rights. We should not disturb their dead. Regardless of what they were trying to do. At any other time, I’d mourn this unnecessary bloodshed. So many youngsters are killed unnecessarily. Violence is an inherent part of the were-kind, yet I’ve still not gotten used to it. But that is not a worry for now.
