I stared into my tea, the steam rising between my fingers.
Kai chuckled. “Alright then, big man. You think you’re immune? Fine.”
He paused, and then said; “₦5 million.”
My brow lifted.
“Five million?” I repeated.
“Five million,” Kai confirmed. “If you catch feelings, even a little, you owe me. And if you don’t… I’ll admit you’re the coldest bastard alive.”
