Broken Bond

Broken Bond

I’m so out of my depth here. Callum immediately turns on the radio and starts messing with the dial to find a station, the noise a welcome reprieve from the errant thoughts pinging around in my brain. I tamp down my anxiety as I pull out of the lot, navigating through town and turning onto the forest road that connects the six-pack territories. “So what was it like?” I ask, a feeble attempt to make casual conversation. “Serena’s party.” “Crowded,” Cal grumbles. I dart him a sideways glance, momentarily mesmerized by the way the shadows dance across the sharp lines of his profile.

I feel I may say this on every comment I write, but this author/series (even the ‘standalone spinoff’) is hands down one of the best on this app. Everything is always so well written and flows beautifully, keeps you intrigued and unable to stop reading. I am so excited for more from this author! :)

I loved this entire series & this book was no exception! It was a perfect companion novel; it flows with the style of the others (overlapping stories and answering my lingering questions from previous stories), & is very well written. I finished it in two days because I just couldn’t put it down.

Replaced by His First Love

Replaced by His First Love

Standing at the far end of the chamber, draped in white silk and necrotic-purple veins, was the puppet. Serena. She wasn't crying anymore. Her eyes were a flat, dull silver-gray—the exact color of the Mother's heart. "The harvest is ready," Serena whispered, the voice layered with the subsonic growl of the First Ones. She looked at Leo. "Welcome home, Remainder." I stepped forward, my silver dagger singing as it left the sheath, my gold-rimmed eyes reflecting the end of the world. "I'm not a remainder," I hissed.

The Rejected Blood Moon

The Rejected Blood Moon

Not a mirror. Not an enemy. A rhythm out of sync. --- The Echo Beneath Harmony Seren sat atop the silver cliffs of her world, gazing up at the shimmering expanse of the moons. Their glow danced across the ocean like a thousand heartbeats. Yet, beneath their beauty, she felt it again— a faint double thrum that didn’t belong. > thrum … silence … thrum … thrum … silence … It was subtle, but persistent. An extra beat where none should exist.

THE DARK SECRETS OF MAFIA DON

THE DARK SECRETS OF MAFIA DON

That was the headache that had been bugging him the entire drive over. At this moment, Serenity was not in the mood to care about his so-called ‘trouble’. She spread out a hand and said, “Where is it?” Calvin took out a black card with gold edges from his wallet and handed it to her. She reached out to take it, but he retracted it. “Tell me what it is for first.” She didn’t have time to explain so much to him, so she grabbed his tie and pulled him closer to her. She leaned over to take the card from his hand and hurried into the clubhouse.

The Taming

The Taming

“Your thoughts are so dark. And you guard your secrets so zealously even I cannot glimpse them. What is it you so fear, Elsabet?” At some point while he spoke, he’d left the doorframe to come to her. Now he reached around the front of her to lift her chin. Levelling her gaze in the mirror while he leaned around her shoulder to see her. The other hand encircling her stomach and his breath warm along her neck and ear. “My name is Serenade.” She squeaked out. Panting. His head slowly turned to meet her gaze in the glass.

The Luna’s Trial

The Luna’s Trial

“What am I supposed to do?” “You’ll know when the moon turns red,” Serene said. She looked up at the sky, where the pale moon was slowly eclipsed by a bruising crimson. Her smile turned sad. “My time is up, Tamara. But I need you to do something for me. Something for the one still fighting.” “Anything,” I promised. “Tell Kat that I will always love her,” Serene whispered, her form drifting away like smoke. “And tell her… tell her to stop being so stubborn and let people in.”

You know, their sense of smell is very strong, so it is better to shut up and speak in a very low voice. sera nervously clenching her teeth: How are you asking me to calm down and the curse are you not aware of the situation I am in or what? The old man calmly: I know you are angry and afraid of where you are, but I want you to calm me down so that we can think of something until you get out of this place. sera took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, knowing that the old woman was right about this. Serenade of Secrets

Serenade of Secrets

Especially since the room was so soundproof. "Jessy?" Hera murmured softly. Alright, this was enough to make her heart race, especially since she was breathless. "Hello, Jes." "Hera, I need your help. Can you accompany me tonight to that event I mentioned?" "Ahh.. Hmmm, of course." "Is that okay?" "Ahh. Yeahhh. Of course. Ahhh." Hera tried to hold back, but Sean was being naughty, quickening his pace. Even a smile appeared on his face.

I Exit to Her Serenade to Him

I Exit to Her Serenade to Him

" Serena stood there, eyes unfocused, as she watched him level his accusations against her. Casper struggled to stand. Serena had made it clear she wanted him to die. At that point, fear had little power left. "You used one man after another because you're weak. You don't deserve anyone's love. You're selfish, cruel, and pathetic. Even if Myles were reborn, he'd never fall in love with you again!" Serena's pupils shrank. She lunged forward and clamped her hands around his throat. Casper struggled desperately. "I was wrong… Help… Serena, don't…"

The Alphas’Dirty Desires : Moan for Us

The Alphas’Dirty Desires : Moan for Us

Serah: I stood between them in the quiet room, the air still thick with the remnants of our earlier conversation—honest words, boundaries drawn, consent given like a contract we’d all signed in the same breath. The rules were simple and ironclad: everything through me. No contact between them. No crossing that line. Just two men, one soft and yielding, one hard and hungry, both waiting for my command. The low light cast long shadows across their bare chests, and the faint scent of fresh coffee still lingered on the air, mixing already with the warmer undertone of skin and anticipation.
