Noah's tone grew comforting, "I'm sorry to hear that. They'll be fine, you know. They love each other." Jemma replied, "Yeah, I hope so." Noah sensed the need to lighten the mood. "You know what always makes me feel better when things are tough?" Jemma's curiosity piqued, "What?" "Jokes! Let me tell you one. Why did the scarecrow win an award?" Jemma chuckled, "I don't know, why?" "Because he was outstanding in his field!" Noah quipped. Jemma laughed, "You always know how to make me smile, Jimmy."

I replied to her, and she scoffed playfully. “I feel they’re trying to be funny but it’s just coming out as forced and awkward.” She had her legs crossed and on top of the coffee table. Hamish chuckled. “Well, I think it’s a good movie. I kind of like it.” “That’s because you have a terrible sense of humor. I have my fingers crossed that that personal trainer you’re dating is going to knock your sense of humor back to life.” Bunny laughed lowly, and we joined her. Hamish chuckled and his face got red. “Whatever.” His voice was light.

“There’s no reason to be uncomfortable when he’s around, he’s even making things lighter with his presence, along with his silly jokes.” “That I couldn’t agree more,” She said and we both laughed. “Honestly, he should work on his jokes, they’re very bad.” We laughed at how we talked about Ethan’s corny jokes. However, I find his jokes amusing and appealing, maybe because he’s not used to doing it around other people that I think it’s cute when he does whenever he’s around us. It could be addicting when I thought about his jokes though.

Let's get something on our way. I would love to eat something". She shook her head "you look chubby now. I bet in a week's time, you will be so fat". She said laughing while I glared at her. "Why aren't you laughing? Isn't it funny?" "It is not. You make dry jokes". "Nope, I disagree. It is not funny to you because the joke is directed to you. And you lack a bit of a sense of humor".

The room went dead quiet when I said I would take the prize, but that quiet did not last. A second later, laughter thundered through the air. Lily Smith was the loudest, doubling over with tears streaming from her eyes. "How else could she be the top seller?" she cackled. "A woman like her has to have skin as thick as a rhino." I ignored her snide comments and kept my cool. "Just to be clear," I said, "since the company so generously 'rewarded' me with bathroom duty, that's all I'll be doing for the next three days. Everything else is off my plate."

"Ms. Sampson's villa isn't home for the homeless. They're your parents, aren't they, Felix? Figures. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Ugh, I can still smell the mud on them." Rage flared within my heart, but I held it back and quickly wiped the water off my in-laws. Diane had a short fuse. She would not stand for this insult, so she snapped, "And who are you supposed to be, you uneducated swine? How dare you call Felix a homeless man!" Zack did not hold back. Instead, he pressed on the attack. He picked up a ceramic ornament and hurled it at Diane. I deflected it with my hand, and the ornament grazed me.

“Because it makes you laugh?” He clicked his tongue, a smile on his face. “You finally get it.” I rolled my eyes. “But ONLY you does it make laugh. Real jokes are so funny everyone around would burst into laughter, not them crying while you’re having a blast.” “A joke is a joke.” “…Your sense of humor is rotten,” I ended up muttering, hissing as his rough fingers tugged at the bandage wrapped around my ribs. The cloth peeled away sticky and damp, and the stench of dried blood hit my nose. I fought the urge to gag.

Sarcasm evident in my words *Just hurry up* *Fine* I replied and as I was about to keep my phone back into its rightful place I bumped into someone and my hot cocoa slipped from my hand unto the floor "We have to stop meeting like this cupcake" Only one human being in the world called me that. "Sorry about your hot cocoa though. At least it didn't spill all over your shirt" he said with an amused look on his charming face. Maybe if I ignore him he'll go away

Can you please, for once, use your brain and kick some sense in the gear?” He whisper-hisses, so red in the face, he reminds me of a tomato. “You could join a casting for vegetable commercials looking like this,” I remark and laugh at the brilliant joke my brain just reacted. Shit, am I not the funniest guy out there? Look at me - sense of humor, looks, body and an impressive spoon collection, I have it all, damn it. No wonder my little vixen couldn’t deny me.
