A Shadow of Doubt

A Shadow of Doubt

"My little brother was sick, and we were drowning in debt. Wade came to me with a deal. If I framed you, I'd get the cash to pay off our debts and get my brother the surgery he needed. "I wasn't thinking straight, and I just..." Her words trailed off, and I walked away without looking back. Sometimes, the people one felt sorry for had done things that made them hard to like. 'She's reaping what she sowed', I thought to myself.

The Shadow Alpha

The Shadow Alpha

I had no doubt that they would smell me behind the tree, but the shadows gave me the advantage of knowing what I was up against before they could see me. The three men stepped out of the woods, one radiated more power than the other two I could immediately tell that he was the Alpha. As I was observing them something strange happened, a blue light engulfed each of them, somewhat surrounding them in different hues. ‘Shadow, why are they glowing?’ I asked worriedly, feeling uneasy by the sudden change, people never glowed before. ‘They are of pure heart, they mean no harm, they are honest and trustworthy.’ she responded in the soothing voice that I have come to love in the few times that I'd h

I absolutely loved this book. I had a hard time putting it down. Well structured and well written. I'm looking forward to hopefully reading a sequel. I'd love to see what Mother Selene has in store for Allison.

2/3rd of this book was incredibly good. Then it started skipping and jumping ahead which made it feel like there were a lot of things left unsaid and unfinished, also quite a few things were left unanswered and so many questions remain. The ending was left in a cliffhanger and that was about 1yr ago

Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

If I died then Noora would never truly be avenged, and nobody would know the truth. “I’ve got the ball…” I said again, as he looked at me confused. I lifted my butt and reached to my lower back, grabbing my shard. With everything I had yelled, “I’ve got the motherfucking ball and you’re never going to fucking getting it!” He looked up at me and laughed.

Wow.. this was an amazing story! One of my top 10 favorites on here. Unbelievably well written & flowed nicely. Kept me on my toes & wanting more. I appreciated that there were multiple POVs. Happy with how it all ended! Fantastic job author - 110% recommend reading this!

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

The Alpha’s Human Temptation

The Alpha’s Human Temptation

The air was rich with the scent of ripe berries, citrus, and something unfamiliar—something sweet and almost floral. My eyes wandered across the spread of fruits, recognizing some from the human world while others were completely foreign. One caught my attention—it was deep purple with a soft glow around it. "What’s this?" I asked, picking it up. Leila smiled. "Moonfruit. It’s rare. Only grows here in Shadowhaven." "Can I try it?" Mira grinned. "Of course! Just don’t eat too much, or you might start glowing too." I blinked. "Wait, what?"

An Assassin's Magic

An Assassin's Magic

Ashley replied with all seriousness. "If so, you could be the very first to have five or more elements." Evan told. "Then let us continue!" Dr. Ashley exclaimed in excitement, "These shards won't test themselves." She immediately place the fifth shard. Within a blink of an eye, the electric orb suddenly turned into soil, and emerging from that rich earth is a sapling that quickly grew into an evergreen tree. The branches spread to the entire ceiling and produce a beautiful cherry red apple. Evan pick one that blossomed near him and observed how this fruit was perfectly shaped and coated with a shiny red hue.

Shadow Moon

Shadow Moon

The journey to her cottage took them along winding roads flanked by towering trees, their branches reaching out like ancient sentinels guarding the secrets of the wilderness. From the confines of his car, Damon observed Aqua's quaint abode—a small cottage nestled at the edge of town. The cottage stood as a solitary figure amidst a lush landscape, surrounded by a canopy of ancient trees that seemed to whisper secrets in the wind. Its timeworn exterior, adorned with ivy and climbing roses, exuded a rustic charm that spoke of simpler times.

Shadow Hunter

Shadow Hunter

It was a pathetic and undeniable craven existence but it was how they were winning the war. Dave let out a sigh. "No. He used a HG blade." I nodded. A brilliant man named Henry Gomez spent his life developing a UV spiked, but essentially silver based liquid that could be applied to any metallic object, leaving a coat of active poison that would kill both shade and host upon entering the their shared body. Something in perfectly balanced formula temporarily imprisoned the shade and as long as the wounds you inflicted on the human were mortal, the shade shared the same fate. The HG liquid had become as precious to us as light bulbs. It was hard to come by at the best of times, especially out h

Nightshade

Margaret was waiting for us in the kitchen with three packed bags when I arrived. "Food, water, basic medical supplies and this...." She pressed something into my hand. A vial of silver liquid that seemed to glow faintly in the predawn light. "It's wolfsbane extract. Diluted enough that it won't hurt you but strong enough to deter rogues. Don't use it unless absolutely necessary." "Where did you get this?" I asked staring at the vial. "Beat you don't know." Margaret's expression was grim. "Just promise me you'll be careful. The neutral territories are extremely dangerous. They're not like pack lands."

Shadow

Shadow

I got her part down and now the weird old man says the Realm is full of shadow and I don’t need to use mine to do what he did To achieve this feat I need to visualize taking a part of that shadow around me, rolling it up like a ball and flatten its surface— I made it happen but the density of the platform I made is weak, hella weak. Instead of wasting his time I got on his shadow platform and it slowly got up to the mountain Our climb to the mountain was amazing, felt like I was floating. Shadow Manipulation is something else. We got to the top of the mountain and it’s flat. I find out there are a few people there and the top has chairs and shelters for people.

Shadow Bound

Ice asks. “A witch I met in New Orleans,” Bo replies with a smile. Seems like more than a friend to me. “She’ll meet you at the airport when you land in Portland. From there, it’s about a six and a half hour drive to Crescent Shadow territory.” I nod my head. Ice sees my face and turns to them. “Can we go now?” She asks. “Of course,” Gray nods his head. “Get some sleep. Tomorrow will be a long day, you’ll need your rest.”
