Luna looked up at the sky. The moons shone brightly. And far in the distance… She saw it. A black shape rising behind the clouds. The Eclipsed Moon. Her hands began to glow. Silver. Blue. And something darker. “I’m ready,” she said quietly. The shadow riders thundered toward them. And the battle for the Whispering Wastes was about to begin.

"She is the daughter of an alpha and a witch. The goddess has blessed our daughter with an incredible gift." It is time for you to wake up, my queen. Its face was hidden beneath a hood, but its eyes glowed faint white — like moons reflected in still water.

Energy streaked through the clearing, throwing the mist into chaos. Her vision blurred. Her heart pounded. And then she heard it — a whisper inside her mind: “I am the beginning and the end. Choose, Luna. Your power or their lives.” Her body froze. The twins thrashed violently. The shadow loomed closer, ready to strike. Damien staggered up, trembling but defiant. Zephyr lunged forward, hands crackling with silver-blue light — but the shadow’s power crushed him back. Elena’s wolf roared inside her chest.

Raven’s grip on her blade tightened, her eyes flickering, Shadow wavering between rage and grief. The Wraith’s shadows rose like a tide, surging toward her. Raven lifted her blade, Shadow responding, clashing against the darkness, the force of it sending shockwaves through the snow. She screamed, the sound tearing from her as Shadow and storm fought to hold the darkness back. In the chaos, The Wraith leaned in, his whisper a blade to her heart: “You will join me, or you will die.” The shadows swallowed them, the world vanishing into darkness.

"I see. The Whisperer left an imprint of his energy inside you, Siron, after he touched you. It connected to your shadow because the shadow is a representation of your subconscious.
