~Zane's POV~ My tongue flicked out, tracing my lower lip as a guttural growl rumbled through my throat. With my head lifted and my gaze locked on the moon, the transformation began in my chest, a grinding compression that forced my ribs to crack and reshape themselves. Collapsing to my knees, I pressed my massive wolfish paws against the ground as the bone beneath the fur contracted. The pain was not the sharp torment of a beastly shift.

I wanted to reach out and grab her, but doing so would only cause me harm. I was no shifter. I wouldn't be able to heal like she does. I had no choice, but to watch. Her body collapses, and the shifting begins. Her burnt body changes before my eyes. I could see her struggling to breathe. I could guess her air passage was irritated. Her breath calms and clears over time, and still she shifts in fifteen minutes. As soon as she is done she reaches back out for that item, prepared to go again. “I don’t understand what you are trying to do…” She looks over at me, her body still experiencing its soft trembles.

Making me feel like i just asked the worst question. "Well", he said his voice going back to how it usually was, the voice that would make a stranger run for the hills. "Well I'm Bryan Raven, lived in New York most of my life till now. Cause my dad thinks I can jump off our apartment, so here I am being catered by you guys", he said finally with his face going plane. "Well trust me they're way more places to kill yourself here than in New York", i said matter factly trying to lighten his mood. "And you'll also have enough reasons not to, believe me", I said practically whispering it, hoping he heard me. I hope i never give up on him, he deserves so much, he deserves to br fought for.

I place the cards in between us and Grayson grabs them. “Count me in, I’m here so there’s no way I can get out of being used, so I may as well try to win.” Try being the word, I don’t lose often. He begins shuffling and a few minutes later Raven returns looking bright-eyed and fresh. She sits down and grins at Emmett. “Next time, you have to repay me with a show.” She looks at Emmett and winks. “Next time? So I’m going to have to knock before entering my own room from now on?” He glares at her waiting.

I worried if I let him go, I would crumble. The car ride is miserable, made easier with Raven, but she is more quiet than usual. I think she knew something was wrong with me. I feel like I am on sensory overload, with my eyes randomly adjusting, my sense of smell so acute I can smell the aftershave we sprayed in Raven’s car two years ago and still have a very faint trace. My skin feels hot and is crawling like I need to shift, but no animal is making a noise. Which is weird cause it is the animal that tells the human when to shift. My emotional and physical responses are magnified, and I am getting scared.

Raven rubbed her thumb over the back of my hand before turning to face me. Sensing my hesitation, she shuffled closer placing her free hand on the side of my face. My heart raced at the closeness my palms becoming sweaty as the nerves kicked in. Raven’s eyes roamed my face settling in my lips. Becoming nervous under her gaze I chewed my bottom lip only for Raven to purr. My body responded to her as tingles formed below.

As they thought about it, they realized that they had never seen Raven shift before. Raven was sick and her wolf took most of the damage when Lorcan rejected her. Because of that, she lost contact with her wolf and she couldn’t shift for a long time. If only she could shift at that time, then maybe they would know that she is special if they saw her pure white wolf. Raven ran ahead of them leaving everyone behind after she astonished them with her powerful wolf. They were awakened out of their reverie after Raven had stormed ahead of them. They tried to chase after her and keep up with her pace, but they couldn’t. Only Lorcan could match her speed.

He stared at the ceiling with his pupils dilated, the veins on his neck pupping out as his adam's apple moved up and down like he was a fish on land. "Uhhh...Alpha?" Noah's voice was shaking now. The image in his head based on the few noises out of the room was NOT pretty! [Shift your tail and I'll handle him.] Knight leaned in so close that his cock was pressed hard into Raven's abdomen. His fingers moved even faster inside Raven as he stuck his tongue into Raven's ear, getting a real, loud groan out of Raven. Raven shifted. A huge, black, furry tail appeared at the rare end of his spine. A tail is the only part that wouldn't twist a bone in shifting. It just replaces the tailbone.

Naturally, she did now no longer need to live close by either. "Stop speaking approximately ideas while all you are doing is securing your very own protection first! I do not need to sacrifice little animals either, however as a minimum have a few protection precautions. Otherwise, let's now no longer pull it out... Instead, use something like a spade to dig it out collectively with the encompassing soil. Let's cross borrow a spade!" Raven attempted to barter with complete seriousness, however, the trio omitted him absolutely. Or rather... It was regarded like they couldn't listen to an unmarried word.

She nodded vigorously, “Lots of ravens, they are there in their numbers I see them and I wake up” Edgar was still in shock, “That is very weird. Ravens signify a higher realm of magic…” She sat upright. “In the old stories, the ravens have been known as the first creatures of magic. The goddess of old had taken a liking to them and had made them powerful”, he continued, “They even have the power to destroy every other magical races…” She furrowed her brows, “That is deep, so you are saying…” “If you are sure you saw ravens then you might possess the power of these ancient magical creatures”, he cut in, “However the stories of old that have been told of people who saw one raven in their dream
