I reminded myself to be quiet as I gawked at the cover of my own book. The entire thing was scarlet in color. It was this vibrant, flaming shade amongst a shelf full of dark colored books. The thread that spelled out my name was a shimmering gold. The phoenix tattoo that now sat across my back seemed to tingle, as though these two things were connected in a way.
