Bones and skulls line the corridors, casting eerie shadows that dance along the uneven surfaces. The water here is thick with a somber stillness, broken only by the gentle currents that carry whispers of forgotten tales. Bioluminescent organisms add a faint ethereal glow, illuminating the macabre scene. The skeletal remains, encased in calcium, create a haunting tapestry that tells the stories of lives long past.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

This feeling was very strange. "Clang" However, at the next moment, with waves of strange friction sounds, everyone's questions were completely answered. The white skeletons slowly crawled out of the sea and onto these stone bridges. These white skeletons were clearly bones of undead, and they were beyond the elite level. The white skeletons, which were integrated from top to bottom, all carried a strange energy flowing. Their powerful auras were clearly visible. What they were holding were all sinister longbows. They looked fatal, while this group of skeleton undead had over ten thousand of them. The number of them was astonishing to the extreme.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

No. 1 Supreme Warrior

No. 1 Supreme Warrior

They just had to continue forward! Jed took one step forward and felt a slight resistance under his feet. A crack could be heard once more, and they altogether turned toward the source of the sound…only to see several sets of skeletons where they were standing. It was obvious that these skeletons had been there for several years, seeing how dusty the bones were. Even the clothes these skeletons donned crumbled like confetti over time. The remnants of their clothes turned into pieces and scattered around the skeletons with the slightest touch.

Digging up My Bones

Digging up My Bones

They didn't receive any responses for the messages they sent too. Samuel's emotions spiraled out of control. In a trembling voice, he asked, "How could they die just like that? How could someone die at home without anyone else noticing?" The private investigator sighed, clearly reluctant to deliver the harsh details he uncovered. "It's been a while, so much of Ms. Zucker's information is difficult to trace. According to the village committee, it seems she developed a systemic infection after donating her bone marrow. As for the child… he starved to death. He stayed with his mother's body for several days. It was terrible."

The Game of Breaking Bones

The Game of Breaking Bones

He had crafted a three-year game of breaking bones and breaking hearts -- and in the end, the one whose pride was shattered, whose dignity was ground to dust, was himself. "Miss Holloway, it's cold out here. Please, get in the car." Pemberton held the door open for me with quiet deference. I pulled my gaze away. I didn't spare the dark shape at the end of the street another glance. I ducked into the warm, luxurious cabin. The door shut with a heavy thud. The black motorcade rolled over the fresh snow and carried on toward the gleaming heart of the city, leaving behind forever the legless beggar sobbing in the drifts.

Demon's Evolution

Demon's Evolution

The city, once teetering on the brink of annihilation, could be transformed into an impregnable fortress, a sanctuary for its people. The next day, the battlefield wore a new, chilling aspect. The monstrous corpses, stripped of their flesh by the relentless scavengers of the night, lay scattered like bleached bones across the ravaged landscape. Each skeleton, a testament to the ferocity of the battle, was a monumental task to move. It took the combined strength of two men to lift a single ribcage, and thousands of these skeletal giants had to be hauled and transported to the warehouse of the Merchant Association.

Alissa couldn't see the sign from where she was. “You coming?” Michael called. So she walked quickly to where they had disappeared behind bookshelves. “If you want to purchase books on how people behave within society, I would recommend this.” He produced a green and yellow book titled, 'Introduction to Sociology'. “Or if you wish to more look at the history of how society became. I'd recommend this.” He pulled out an orange book with 'The Basics of Anthropology' stamped across the middle. “Thank you,” Michael said, dismissing the worker.

The Reborn Of The Betrayed Luna

Then there were noises in the room. Voices of mainly crying men and women… Voices of kids. The voices kept echoing louder and louder and soon the window in the house opened and Linda looked out from it. The houses she saw previously were no longer houses; instead they were steel bars like a confinement for criminals. And there were all kinds of skeletons walking around while in some of the houses were humans screaming loudly… as their bodies were slowly turning to its skeleton structure. The door of the room where she was, opened and other skeletons which were walking around the premises entered into the house where she was and started circling her as the one calling her

Horror Nights

The vertebrae had been completely hollowed out, replaced by a complex architecture of bridges and chambers that glowed with a ghostly symmetry. "The ants have integrated," Aris said, his voice dropping to a low, reverent hum. "They have replaced the structural integrity of your skeleton with their own. If we kill them—if we even attempt to move them—your entire frame will collapse into a heap of fine, white powder. You aren't a man carrying a parasite anymore. You are a living monument. You are the mound."

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

"The bones are the inside account. The bones are the journals and the Thursday walks and the bread Wednesdays and the fire in the sitting room. The bones are what remained when the managed distance was replaced by the clearing." Don stopped walking. He stood in the middle of the colonial street with the Aztec stones in the foundations of the buildings around them and the lake bed beneath their feet and the October light falling on his face. "Yes," he said. "The bones are what remained when the managed distance was replaced. The bones were always there. The managed distance was the skin. The bones were the trust."
