The nurse left after I whispered a few words to her. I kept my gaze fixed on Sienna as I placed the gladiolus in the drinking glass by her bedside. Sienna looked at the flower in my hand and instinctively shivered in fear. Even so, she feigned composure and questioned, "Haven't you ruined my life enough? Are you here just to laugh at me?" As I sat in the chair across from Sienna and watched her grow thinner and thinner from the torment… I finally did just that and started laughing.

It struck me and with teary eyes, I began writing a poem. My thoughts were lifted and my burden light But not long till hurt becomes my bread My heart torn between a smile and a sigh A twain feeling of a moon and sun I welcomed the ice but the fire wasn’t far Would you be a friend or a foe? Dear happiness please leave behind the fire And welcome and embrace the ice I won’t be able to bear it, not at all Happiness is a double-edged sword A pretty friend and an ugly foe. I closed my note pad, went to the sitting room to greet my parents. I had earlier prepared Oha soup during the day so I dished out some for dinner.

It read, ‘Eyes that shine like the stars at night, ‘A sudden smile gave colour to my dull life, ‘How come I was only found now? ‘But still, I am happy I was found.’ Simple words but they were able to make someone smile. I folded the paper and put it inside my pocket. Hopefully, she wouldn’t notice that one of her creations was taken. I walked back to her and laid a gentle peck on her forehead before leaving. ~*~*~*~

She said flashing a dazzling smile at him. Close your mouth, you stupid girl... or I will thwow something at you. " What a beautiful name, you look like a poem itself. " Ron said giving her one of his killer smiles. Idiot!!! Keep looking at that poem for the rest of your life... " Awww... And you are as bold and strong as your name. Why don't we meet for a coffee or something? " she asked going very close to him and batting her eyes at him. I glared at them. He smirked at me and turned to her.

I caught his eyes but he returns his gaze to the road. “Smiling is a social signal that, in most cases, transmits to others our feelings of happiness and good intentions. When we're happy to see someone, our facial expression reflects this happiness or delight in their presence,” I uttered and wanted to burst into laughter but I held myself when I saw how Zero’s forehead creased. He glanced at me before glancing back at the road. “Are you kidding me?” he asked, but his voice is soft which makes the hair of my skin arouse. “Why are you smiling?” he asked and gives a clearer question.

I began, only for the smile to disappear, curving into a frown, “Hey, you look pretty when you smile. Why don't you try it?” “I don't smile.” She snapped. Dishes were laid down before us, and she placed her hand out, tapping around the table, looking for cutlery. I took the cutlery instead, “How can you not smile? Everyone ought to smile. Smiling keeps you happy even if you're not.” “Does it?” She replied flatly, as I placed a spoon of rice before her mouth. She opened her mouth quite adorably, and took in the whole thing, despite it being quite a huge scoop.

But then, it was the sun that does not want to lose to show off its power. While running the shop, I distracted myself by playing the guitar. I chose the song 'When I See You Smile' by Bad English. Of course, while imagining how Aisha blushed, Kacey laughed, and Julia took a shower. How else, their smiles stick to my memory. 'When I see you smile, I can face the world'. Looks like I just got stuck by a charm? "Hello," there was a child's voice.

The lady answered. " Then what type of smile is a happy smile?" Holden couldn't help but ask. A smile creeped up the lady's lips on Holden's question. It's a lonely night Silently watching the heaven above that has no gap Quietly wishing it also has the small crack That is separating my heart from being one and whole The stars are getting acquainted to each other Helping the other twinkle And I wish they'd look down at me and flicker the dying Light in my soul and bring it back to life Still watching as the old dry palm branch shaped moon Slowly drifts down to the appointed term
