Within minutes, a doctor arrived—the same physician who had been treating Leviana before. He examined her, ran a few basic checks, and finally straightened with a calm expression.
“There are no immediate signs of internal bleeding,” he said gently. “Her vitals are stable. This could be stress-related or a minor irritation, nothing severe.”
Adrian blinked, stunned. “How can you say that? She coughed blood in front of me!”
The doctor sighed. “Sometimes small ruptures in the throat can look dramatic but aren’t life-threatening. I assure you, I see no indication of anything serious. But if you want, we can schedule more tests.”
