Mostly a formality. My thumb froze on the glass screen. The ambient noise of the locker room vanished. The music, the laughter, the clack of plastic studs, everything went dead silent in my head. An official graphic flashed on the news feed. The dark blue and gold colors of our biggest rivals filled the display. Below the emblem, the text stared back at me in bold letters: Ironclaw Titans – Active Lineup: Theo Maren.

Squad 7. 'Squad 7....,' the instructor started. 'Rita Zintez. Kevin Joan. Asher Frankstin. Aiden Quin.' Aiden looked at the dark haired girl that had on a cheerful smile as he approached his team. 'Hi! I'm Rita,' she laughed. He scrutinized all of them. Kevin had his arms crossed across his chest and had on a twisted facial expression. His gaze stuck on Kevin. Kevin looked at him.

At his back was a symbol that they were all familiar with. Ah, it's not just a symbol that caught their attention, at the side of him was a proudly standing flag that symbolizes their country. A familiar thirteen horizontal stripes, seven red alternating with white, and countless stars that seems to represent a new constellations. One of them, stunned and awestruck, can't help but exclaim in a form of a whisper, "What the… isn't that?" ["Thank you for your participation, officers of the Vyseni's and PSIA's most cherished squad, SPADE, and especially to you, Archilles Callisto, commander-in-chief. My name is Stanley Laurel II."]

The link was silent, as often happened when there was a flurry of action to keep too many from sending in. Finally, the warrior assigned to Moira’s team called in. They had destroyed the remaining four from the other two squads. It took less than two minutes and not a single one of them was even touched. Bo and Jessica were both forced into submission. Adrian’s head snapped up and he noted the devastated look on Marta’s face. She had the advantage in leaders this year with three of the six squads being led by brawlers. The soldiers from Squad 4 were excited beyond comparison upon seeing his appearance. To everyone’s surprise, Nicole’s eyes reddened instantly. Zayn had not been in the Insurgent Trifecta the whole time, so he simply had no idea how much stress and pressure the entire members of Squad 4 had endured! The incident of Squad 4 offending Wolf’s Fang squad had resulted in the other squads keeping them at a distance. Moreover, they had no lack of being ridiculed and were even bullied.

Whoever is leading this Squad is a force to be reckoned with and I can see his second and third in command not far from Elder Jensen. Their insignia has four red stars instead of black stars and the second in command has a red circle instead of a black circle. It is always good to know how things work in a Pack or within the Renegades, most Packs don’t teach their children the correct way anymore and information has gotten lost. Alpha Leon steps onto the stage and everyone goes quiet to listen to his speech, not that he seems very comfortable to me. He keeps looking at the Renegades and at Elder Jensen, but none of them make a move to silence him.

ChasingStar: Who are you to decide for me? I lost my hope when I saw his status offline. I just pouted. I forgot that when we became friends, he can easily add me to their squad and when you're in, only the admins of the squad can remove me. The admins are the officials or leaders that are very known when it comes to tournament games. Whoever added me into the squad, he's only the one who can remove me. That's why I hate it! Too complicated! Looks like I was left with no choice.

This was when images of those two fighters were finally captured by the radar and transmitted to the computer. There was a logo of a lifelike Phoenix in flames on each of the fighters. "Isn't this the Phoenix Squad that belongs to one of the Dark Monarch's Northern Frontier divisions?" The commander was nearly tongue-tied when he spoke.

He was sex on two legs. “That’s Squad One. It consists of Xander, me, Eric, Tyree, Spencer, Johnson, Jerome, Kurtis, and Nick. We have the territory broken in sectors because of the size of our pack. The squad helps oversee the sectors which then helps Xander and me to keep the pack running smoothly.”

We did some cool down stretches while we nervously waited, luckily Eve and Keri came back quickly. "Ok. All your names are on this list. If your name is highlighted in yellow, you're on the cheer squad, if its in blue, you're on the B squad. If your name isn't highlighted at all, you didn't make it this year but we would love to have you try out again next year." Eve explained.
