I am Mrs. Ballmer

I am Mrs. Ballmer

It was like a scene from a movie where the hero rescues the damsel from the tower. Henrique, for his part, secretly wished that the staircase would never end. If Axel knew the thoughts that were going through his “holy” brother's mind right now... However, the pink bubble was about to burst. As soon as they reached the top floor landing and prepared to open the silver-white door, the sound of metal transforming echoed behind them. Clack. Whirrr. The robots on the staircase extended their arms. Panels opened, revealing dark launch tunnels that looked like high-caliber weapons.

Touched by Forever

Touched by Forever

Paris walked away as he could feel his skin boiling at just the thought of breaking his promise, ‘Hanna first then Soraya,’ he thought. Paris walked through a passage that seemed like it was from a different era all together but the further he went the cleaner it got. White bare walls with only dimmed lights. Paris goes through a door, still tracking Andre’s scent, and was greeted by a wide stone spiral staircase that went down. At the bottom of the spiral staircase he walked through another hallway only to be met with another wide spiral staircase but this time it went up, double the length of the one that was going down.

Iron Serpent Chronicles

Iron Serpent Chronicles

"Exactly. The main staircase is huge, spanning at least ten feet in width. Scrolled handrails on either side. It opens up onto an observation area. Very lordly, if you ask me." "What kind of warehouse are we in?" I asked. "I have no idea. It's nothing like their penthouse. It's not decked out or anything. The staircase just seems too grand for the place. Which is probably why Ferria chose this one. Delusions of grandeur, that one." She sighed. "This is the last stair. Careful now. Okay, we're going to the left." She tugged on my arm as if I was an imbecile.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

When they saw that they had no hope, the only thing they could do was to make those cultivators who tried their best to fight in the end lose everything. Therefore, this kind of jealousy and feeling helped these cultivators of the Mansion to complete the last stop. With a whoosh, the last crack in the passageway turned into a white line and then disappeared. The scene of the Black Soul City completely disappeared from everyone's sight. At this time, in front of everyone, except for the huge stone tablet withthe words” Immortal Ascension Stair”, there was only the bottom step. "This is the last road." Caspian looked up at the magnificent palace at the end of the stairs and muttered.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

The Lycans Twins Hidden Mate

The Lycans Twins Hidden Mate

"Alina, the stairs are gone!" He was right. The grand obsidian staircase that had once wound upward in a majestic, hand-carved spiral was now a vertical shaft of shifting geometric planes. There was no way to climb it—at least, not by any physical law Kaden or Kael understood. It was a throat of light, swallowing the distance between the earth and the heavens.

Désiré Me 2

Désiré Me 2

— Upstairs, now, he announces, heading towards a staircase. The staircase is a sculpture: a flight of tempered glass steps, seeming to float in the air, with no visible railing, only a thin strip of chromed steel winding at hip height. Each step is an act of faith. I place my foot; the glass is perfectly transparent; I see the marble of the hall, far below. A dizziness seizes me, not from the height, but from the fragility. Everything here is designed to impress, yes, but also to remind one of precariousness. A misstep. A crack. He climbs ahead of me, confident. I cling to the cold of the steel strip.

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

The grand central staircase of the manor had always been enchanted, but tonight, during the Solstice Revels, it had become something far more dangerous. The Shifting Staircase event allowed guests to ride the moving steps as they rearranged themselves into spiraling towers, floating platforms, and hidden landings — a playful yet treacherous celebration of the manor’s living architecture.

Mated to the Alpha Knight

What might be scarier is what she didn’t know. What we all didn’t know. Finally, Emeric and I had made it to our destination: a small room with stairs leading down into an abyss that if you made one wrong step on the spiraling staircase, you’d probably fall to your death and my my did these steps look steep and wet.

Good story but some events that occurred had no impact on the story and I wondered why they were included unless it’s revealed in the next book, e.g., the Truth Lake 🤷🏻‍♀️ when she got bitten by the snake in the lake, what did that all mean🤷🏻‍♀️ Mind I did skim read a lot of it so could have mis

The Endless Chase

The Endless Chase

All the things here are eminently luxurious that even if my life is an expenditure, it is not sufficient to reimburse for any of those. Lengthy gold curtains on the oversized windows, I am inquisitive to know how it was placed in such a position... The chandeliers above are luminous and pompous. I tightened my grip on my mother because I was afraid it might drop and we would be crushed by it immediately. In the middle, there is a long and elegant staircase made of beautiful concrete.
