A Spark in the Dark Shadow

A Spark in the Dark Shadow

, Ashton said. Carl also seemed to struggle seeing through the darkness. “Alright. When you are in the caves, there’s a wall that divides the outside from the inside of the facility. You can’t wait for the main entrance to be opened because that might take ages. Just try to get into the wall with your gilt powers”, he said. Without knowing where we were going, that was going to be an impossible feat. We needed to know what it looked like on the other side so we could get there but without knowing we had no way in.

The Alpha Who Rejected Me

The Alpha Who Rejected Me

The wolf wanted to tear the throat out of whatever distant entity was pulling our strings and trying to shackle us back into submission. Up ahead, a dark, jagged fissure yawned in the side of the gray stone mountain. It was a hidden, cursed cavern, completely obscured from the outside by a dense tangle of sharp, thorny briers that looked like rusted barbed wire. The crimson thread stretched through the night sky and disappeared straight into the black, gaping mouth of the cavern.

Broken by One, Desired by All

Broken by One, Desired by All

This place was dark, murky, and reeked of old rot, stagnant water, and that sour, metallic stench that always followed the Sigen like a shadow of death. We stood in a massive cavern, the ceiling so high up I couldn't see the rock, just long, dripping shapes hanging down into the gloom like rotten teeth in a giant's mouth. The only illumination came from the faint, sickly green fissures in the floor, pulsing like veins on a dead horse. "Gods above," Elena wheezed behind me, splashing through the muck as she tried to keep her balance. Her staff nearly slipped from her grip. "Where the hell are we? The air tastes like copper and decay."

Shirley Sarchett
I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

"A root of the world, untouched by the wars of men and wolves. The magic here is old. It... obscures. Those who hunt you will find only empty forest." We walked on, the tunnel opening into a vast, subterranean cavern. My breath caught in my throat. The cavern was immense, its ceiling lost in darkness. A subterranean lake, its water black and perfectly still, filled the center, reflecting the bioluminescent fungi and glowing moss that dotted the walls and ceiling like a mirror of a starry sky. The air hummed with a low, almost imperceptible energy.

Fate Wrote His Name

Fate Wrote His Name

Giant pillars stretched toward the ceiling, some carved with ancient symbols, others scarred by claw marks so deep I could only imagine the battles that caused them. Lava flowed in rivers along the edges of the cavern, bubbling and glowing like captured sunlight. I stepped toward it, feeling the heat brush against my skin, but it didn’t burn. It was beautiful. I wandered deeper, taking in every detail—the treasures piled carelessly in corners, the weapons that looked too large for any human to wield, the strange, glowing plants that seemed to breathe with the lair itself. Every step I took echoed through the enormous space. I spun around in awe, stretching my arms out, letting the warmth fil

Shadow Wolves

Shadow Wolves

The light from a fire jerked and writhed against the heavy stone walls that surrounded the small space. The smooth rock face went up some ten feet before curving inwards to create a ceiling that was painted inky black by the shadows. The naturally formed den was big enough for a small family to congregate. Mats and piles of furs were bundled tidily in one corner while primitive cushions littered the floor strategically. Treated hides had been stitched and then hung over the several exits that stopped this place from being a tomb to being a safe space.

Her Last Death

Her Last Death

The air grew thick and heavy, and I couldn't shake the feeling that we were being pulled down, deeper into the earth, with each passing moment. Then the tunnel opened. The city below nearly stopped me cold. The cavern was like a hidden kingdom, buried deep within the earth. Towering black spires rose up from the cliffs, which were carved out of the stone walls. Delicate bridges made of obsidian spanned the dark rivers that flowed through the cavern, their waters so still and black that they didn't reflect any light. Above, crimson lanterns hung suspended in the air, attached to chains that were almost invisible, glowing like embers or severed hearts in the darkness. The whole scene was eerie

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

Ahead the vast cavern was clear and looked like a smuggler’s cache. Towering stone formations dominate the space—thick columns rise from the ground to meet jagged stalactites hanging from the ceiling, forming a forest of rock. The surfaces are rough and damp, catching glimmers of light that make the cavern feel alive and ancient. A narrow, glowing turquoise waterway cuts through the left side of the cavern, its surface calm and reflective. Small wooden boats are moored along its edge, suggesting the water is used as a quiet, concealed route in and out of the cavern. The right and central areas are filled with stacks of wooden crates and barrels—some neatly arranged, others piled in clusters.
