Luna’s Second Chance

Luna’s Second Chance

I need to know any features or characteristics that could help me spot a werewolf next time it comes. I walked into the library and straight to the counter. I glanced around the library admiring the shelves of books. “Ma’am are you going to read something?” A staff in the library approached me, her voice soft and gentle as the wind. “Yes I am! Where can I get the books on the supernatural?” I asked. “In the inner room, aisle 17” she answered swiftly. “Thank you.” I went to the inner room to check for a book that could be of help at all.

The Hawkins Blood

The Hawkins Blood

Books thudded onto the table, jarring enough to make me jump. “You said the Isaiah Jones family, right?” the librarian asked, his voice buzzing with a level of excitement that set me on edge. Alexandra gave him a calm nod. “Yeah. That’s right.” The librarian didn’t waste a second. He started tearing through his pile of old newspapers and worn history books. “I pulled everything I could find from local archives. So, uh, you three into true crime?”

30 Shades Of Forbidden Lust : A Collection Of Tales

30 Shades Of Forbidden Lust : A Collection Of Tales

Chapter – 0007 Damon POV The library was nearly deserted at 10:30 p.m. on a Thursday. Only the desperate and the sleepless remained. I’d come here to dig through old newspaper archives on Professor Lang’s “suicide,” but my mind kept drifting back to Lila. I was scanning microfiche when I heard footsteps. Soft and familiar. Then her scent. Lila appeared at the end of the row, wearing an oversized hoodie and tiny shorts that made her legs look endless.

The Hybrid's Daughter- Red Moon, The Curse

The Hybrid's Daughter- Red Moon, The Curse

Instantly, his eyeballs turned pure white, and a brilliant light radiated from the book, directly illuminating his face. In that extraordinary moment, his spirit transcended his physical form, embarking on a journey within the book's pages, where the hidden secrets of the world awaited, shielded from the grasp of ordinary men. “ ...seriously, I can't explain what happened to the sheriff yesterday that made him change his mind about the case all of a sudden. I mean, it was like he had seen a ghost or something. How can we just close down a case of such magnitude? A serial killer is on the loose, and the cops ain't doing anything to find him. For the first time in my life, I'm ashamed of weari

The Beta's Blind Date

The Beta's Blind Date

“Yeah… Animorphs and Goosebumps in elementary school do not a reader make.” “Hey, those are quality pieces of literature!” I declare. “Says who?” “Says me!” I huff, crossing my arms. “And I’ve read other books too! I like Stephen King and Michael Crichton and Neil Gaiman and—“ “Okay, okay,” he surrenders, lifting his hands and cutting me off. “Seriously, though, why are you going to the library?” “I’m going to do some research.” “For what?” “New training methods. Double checking some of the warrior laws for the kingdom.”

This story was amazing. As a woman of color I appreciate the female woman of color. Yes I was drawn to it because of it but then the story line grabbed me and kept me. Thank you Allie good luck on your next books. GN lost a good writer and storyteller.
Jade Orchid
I have enjoyed this book more than the last. Allie just keeps getting to be a better storyteller with each book. The characters are enchanting and the storyline is captivating. Looking forward to more books of these characters.

The King's Hart

The King's Hart

But if you kiss him again—if you even touch him—I'll make sure you regret it. Again. He said again. Like we'd already kissed. Like he'd been close enough to see something that never actually happened. The thought made bile rise in my throat. I shoved through the lobby doors and into the freezing night. The snow had stopped. The streets were wet and black and empty. Every shadow was a threat. Every parked car was Gregory Kingston waiting with my name on his lips. I walked fast with my phone clutched in my pocket and my heart pounding so hard I could feel it in my teeth. The library was still open. The library was safe—bright lights and security cameras and people who weren't violent drunks st

The Alpha King Stubborn Mate

The Alpha King Stubborn Mate

He started going through the books, checking out the names and dates of each book section in the library. He had hoped that Roen had written down in any of the books about where he had kept the rest of his demons. He was so engrossed with searching for that particular kind of book that he didn't notice one of the wolves who was the librarian, coming in and saw a little child going through all the books in the library, scattering them. The wolf went out and came back with four guards. "That's the street rat in the palace library." The librarian said pointing at the child.

Midnight Horror Show

“Were these any help, detective?” “I’m afraid not,” I said, defeated. I was in a bit of a daze after staring at projected newsprint on the dim screen. I leaned on the desk and looked around the building absentmindedly until my eyes finally settled on a small sign hanging on a table covered with a neat stack of books. “Warning: The Library is Not Responsible for Nightmares!” I read out loud, walking over to look at the books. Well-worn volumes with pink skulls grinning back at me from stickers on their spines. Dracula. Frankenstein. The Invisible Man.

The Alpha’s Genius Dud

The Alpha’s Genius Dud

It was a smell—the smell of jasmine and old paper. A figure stepped out from the shadows of the library. It wasn't a soldier. It was the Librarian from her visions. But this time, he looked solid. He looked real. “You are early, Faith Nightshade,” the Librarian said. The school is burning, Faith said. “I don't have time for riddles.”
